Mainstream rap has a grab on society and has easily claimed the title of most popular music today but most rap/rappers/rap groups can not even compare to live performance shows that rock bands put on. Main reason why rock bands are way better live than rap groups, they actually do stuff!

I have to agree with you on this one. Even though I have never been to a rap concert I have seen a few on MTV or BET while flipping channels and I cant believe people pay to see them. Theres one guy whos rapping usually and then he needs 5 other guys to go "uh" and make grunting noises into the mics in the back ground. Rock shows you can usually see a spectacle like Iggy Pop for instance who would do wild **** on the stage and still rock.

I agree with mOB, 110%, rappers never play there own instruments just walk around the stage and "Sing".

Personaly, I'v only been to one concert..when I was 5..Can't remember whitch band..

Wait..actually 2..The Grand Opra in Nashville Tennessee(sp?)..some country concert my parents forced me to go to..I hated it..

So, seeing that I havn't bene to a concer I liked..I'm forced to a concert that I'v seen on videotape..

It was an UNDEROATH concert caught on videotape I watched..loved it=D

I might possibly go to the Warped Tour concert with UNDEROATH and He Is Legend performing in the Nissan Pavillion in Bristow, VA, my state

If I happen to go, I'm already sure it would be my favourite concert..

My favorite was The Rolling Stones, A Bigger Bang concert in Moncton. It was crazy. I was about 10 feet from the stage/speakers. And when they lit up the fireworks I got burned by they flames almost every time. It was one of the best nights of my life.

Trivium always puts on a good show. My most enjoyable though, is pretty much any place that has local bands playing and allows moshing. I am not as much into the big guys' concerts as much as the locals, I just support my scene like that

Local bands do put on a pretty good show. Good point Punx. JerryCan is a sweet local band with a great show. Same with Shatterpoint and Hostage Life.
