1.) (effin) Nirvana!!! One of the very few bands where I can listen to any one of their CDs from start to finish... greatest band of the '90s, in my opinion... plus, they have an awesome collection of rare songs, which are nearly impossible to find at "regular" music stores. And look at my name here on the forums/Xbox Live/SOCOM... Negative Creep - track# 7 on their debut album, "Bleach".

2.) Metallica: Quite possibly the single reason why I listened to heavy metal/thrash way back in high school. Metallica at the UIC Pavillion (in Chicago) was one of the first concerts I ever went to... hell, my Dad had to drive my friends and I to see it - none of us had our driver's licenses yet!

3.) Megadeth: See listing of reasons above. I can't remember how many times I have seen them live in concert... but needless to say, it was more than a handful of times.

4.) Alice in Chains: Saw them live at the "Clash of the Titans" tour back in 1990 or 1991... and this was BEFORE they got all popular with "Man in the Box" even. I like their sound in a close second with Nirvana's sound. Yet another tragic story of a young musical talent that left us too soon...

5.) Slayer: In my opinion... they are one of the FASTEST and LOUDEST bands that I have ever witnessed at a live concert. I was headbanging so violently during one of their concerts, that I fell out of my chair and damn near killed myself. Definitely one of the first times that I smelled marijuana at a concert... ahhh, good times.

That's what I'm talking about, Nun. When I hear songs like Now You've Got Something To Die For, The Faded Line, and 11th Hour, you get pumped up.

Underoath-Just a downright amazing band, nothing more to it..

Alesana-Amazing vocals, and lyrics

He Is Legend-One again..amazing vocals..mainly the screamer..and the fact that they only have one vocalist, who does both screaming and normal vocals..

BlessthFall-Can't explain, I just REALLY like their music

The Killers, Coldplay, and Death Cad for Cutie

All these bands are somewhat new but these are the bands that I could listen to a thousand times and have it never get old.

With the title of "All-Time favorite bands" your bands are really pushing the envelope.

Here is my list and I am going to try and number them as good to my abilities as possible.

1) Led Zeppelin: Not only are they named the #1 rock and roll band of all-time, but they definately got the #1 spot in my book as well. Great music, great lyrics, and they were just an all around awesome band. None of their songs were boring or were not good. Zeppelin knew how to get down.

2) AC/DC: Very energetic music, great lyrics, Angus Young on guitar. This is one band you can never get tired of.

3) Metallica: I have always listened to Metallica since I was a kid and loved the music. Great combonation of heavy and soft with a variety of great songs. Not one of their CD's was bad even though many would fight me about the latest St Anger album. Kirk Hammit knows how to work his guitar and James just has an awesome voice for that type of music.

I'm going with a top 3 for now. I'll add more as I feel like it.

I just saw Coldplay in Tampa, FL. Not only was it a great entertaining show. There was about ten chicks to every guy there, It was shall I say Heavenly.

Chris Martin is also a very Hospitable entertainer , rarely have I seen a frontman that acknowledges and interacts with the crowd so much.
