I thought the movie was very disapointing compared to the book. The book is much much better. The movie is around 2 1/2 hours and still left out things. Even with the movie this long it was too rushed. I felt they left out key parts and they changed some stuff around ( I think they did this to make it more "politicaly correct"). I think it will prob be a good movie to go see if you will never read it but if you really liked the book then you will prob be disapointed.

i think the movie is very good one of the best this year, granted it was long but i didnt even feel it until it was over it was very interesting but yes the book is always better than the movie

yea I know its a real movie starring tom hanks and ron howard was directing it..but there can be riots or stuff liek that but ure right.

Yes sum one has tried to ban the movie, like the cathlic church like sum 1 said....also in philipines, they already banned this movie..

No one is "messing" with Jesus. The book/movie just say he wasn't the son of God. I saw this story as more about a big conspiracy theory type of tale rather than something that said that the religion is BS-- which is what people see the movie as doing and is why they take it so personally. The book is categorized as fiction for God's sake (no pun intended :smile: ) I don't see how there is a big deal over a fictional story. If in fact this "story" were to be spun upon any other organized religion, which it easily could be, no Christian would care about it. That is the sad truth.

Get a grip, people. Open your minds. Think outside the box. Question what people tell you. Find and interpret "truth" for yourselves. Now there's where true religion lies.

Who says the Bible is true? Is there any proof there is a god? No. Is there any proof there is not a god? no.

Its a damn movie who the hell cares if it makes jesus look like a clown in big shoes. Its a movie. When I see X-men I don't plan on trying to find my mutant powers after. Its a movie, made for your entertainment.
