Eh... thanks for the info, but I just look at is as saving myself a huge headache trying to play this MOH game on the PS3. As I said in the MOH beta thread, I'm hoping that I like playing the game much more on the 360, as I'm starting to live by the mantra that FPS games are slightly better suited for the 360... BC2 might very well be the last FPS that I play on the PS3 unless things change for the better... IMHO.

It is true that the 360 is better for fps. That said Im probably not getting this. It was fun at first but now its pretty boring. Also the community is already gay and full of camping.

I switched my amazon preorder to Reach for the 20 game credit towards a future purchase Reach comes with.

No doubt. The rampant camping that went on in a small assed map like Kabul City Ruins (deathmatch, no less) was enough to make me want to hang myself with my Taliban character's turban.

Never played the first game, even though I heard it was addictively fun. Those of you who are interested in the second take note, a collector's edition is giving you something you can actually use...a pair of game ends (bookends). Of course there are other goodies as well, take a gander:

Lu spoke highly of the last game in this series. Idk, my personal want for a fighting game has wained here lately. This one still looks pretty cool though, I almost like the artwork that is shown more than anything else. The little figure that comes with the "fan" edition is neat in a cute sort of way. Only downside to all of this stylish goodness? Both versions are only available in Europe.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Gets Two Special Editions In Europe

Also, here's a Snake figure for you to look at. While decent overall I'd still love to see a figure that has been painted with a special paint that can change colors. Maybe a finish that is light sensitive or maybe temperature sensitive.

For those of you joining the Brotherhood later this fall/winter, you've got a few goodies coming your way. I for one am putting this one down as a must have as far as collector's editions go. Just have to decide which one I want. Right now I think I'm leaning towards the Harlequin:

The $100 Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Collector's Edition Is Worth Every Penny

Just found this, it is apparently the European CE for AC: Brotherhood. Not to shabby at all actually.

I'm not a big fan of Collector's Items just because I don't have the cash. I did buy the Alien Vs. Predator special edition because of the model face hugger and included map-pack full contents in this picture:

Very good value for money methinks. The model face hugger is very flexible too. I chucked it at my sister whilst she was resting and she was really freaked out -- it's amazing how I probably had more fun with the toy than the video game.

I also have an Alex Mercer mini-figure because I really enjoyed Prototype.

I so wanted to get the AVP Hunter edition, but I wasn't overly impressed with the game (there's so many shooters out there, I personally can only do so many) so I didn't get it. Still, the face hugger was sweet. Speaking of sweet (understatement of the year, trust me), a friend gives me a call and tells me about a text he just got, after listening, I thought he was full of..., so I went and checked it out.
    He wasn't full of it...:

I always loved this series based on the single player alone, so the rest of you can argue amongst yourselves on how you feel the multiplayer should be handled. I'll sill be enjoying what will be a total kick ass game while enjoying being a kid again with my RC!

Here's another look at it from my normal source of links:

Those 4 coop maps are also rumored to be the 4 zombie maps from WAW. So it seems very likely we will see new zombie maps in Black Ops.

Yeah. The game has it's satisfying moments -- like removing marines' spinal cords from their bodies -- but overall it's got very shallow gameplay and finicky controls. So, yeah, it was a disappointment, because it really could have been a great success (the first one wasn't actually half bad -- AvP 2000 or something). However, I have plans to buy this face eating, marine shredding bastard to accompany my face hugger. Soon my desk will be the shrine of everything Alien -- mwuhahaa. >.>

Here's another look at it from my normal source of links:
Call of Duty: Black Ops Special Edition Includes Video Surveillance Vehicle
200 feet is relatively impressive for a remote controlled car but doesn't that look really tacky and cheaply made to anyone else? The chassis is half-open which is a good interpretation of what it looks like but it also makes it unappealing to me. Furthermore, I don't need Xbox avatar clothes on PC so that little titbit is unnecessary too.

Here's a little something for you World of Warcraft players:

World Of Warcraft Cataclysm Gets An $80 Special Edition

Never played the game but I've always been a sucker for Trading Card Games, so if I did, I'd probably get this based on the cards alone. Like I said, there are certain things that I admitt I'm a total mark for.

I'll be honest, as far as collector's editions go, this one is luke warm...at best. Main reason I'm posting this though is because the last I heard, this game had been delayed till the first quarter of 2011. It would appear that is no longer the case:

Gamestop.com - Buy Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Limited Edition - Playstation 3

Been looking forward to this game since I downloaded the sneak peaks back in...geez, don't even remember when I dl'ed those. Good to see the game is on it's way out. Though part of me has to wonder...is the sudden push up in the date meaning they were further along than they thought? Or is it a case of it needs work but because of pressure from other sources they're going to release a half assed product.

I'm hoping it's the first reason. We'll find out 10-05-10

I've pre-ordered the Black Ops Veteran Edition and the Fallout New Vegas Collectors Edition. Depending on buying options over here I'll be buying the LBP2 Collectors edition if it doesn't come in a PS3 bundle.

For those of you still waiting to pre-order your copy of Dead Rising 2, here's something for you to munch on:

Capcom Ups The Ante With The Dead Rising 2 High Stakes Edition

Another chip and card deck (like Fable III and FO: New Vegas) but the interesting tid bit is the chance to win the life sized zombie replica. Can only get this version via the Capcom store and according to the little article they're in "extremely limited quantity".
