*new* M . O . A . B. - Mother of all Bombs is a 25 kill killstreak . Similar to nuke but not as powerful. You can only get it with gun kills. (not combined with killstreak kills , choppers, etc )

Assault Strike Killstreaks

3 UAV:Shows enemies on the minimap.
4 Care Package: Airdrop a random point streak or ammo.
5 (IMS)Intelligent Munitions System: Detects and eliminates enemy combatants.
5 Predator Missile: Remote control Missile.
5 Sentry Gun: Airdrop a placeable Sentry Gun.
6 Precision Airstrike: Call in a directional airstrike.
7 Attack Helicopter: Call in an Attack Helicopter.
9 Strafe Run: Strafing Run of 5 Attack Helicopters on a designated point.
9 Little Bird Guard: Get personal air support from a Little Bird Guardian.
9 Reaper: Laser missile targets remotely from the Reaper UAV
10 Assault Drone: Airdrop an Assault Drone.
12 AC130: Be the gunner of an AC130.
12 Pave Low: Heavily armored assault helicopter.
15 Juggernaut: Receive advanced armor via carepackage. M60E4 and MP412 revolver
17 Osprey Gunner: Be the gunner of a V-22 Osprey

Support Strike Killstreaks

4 UAV Shows enemies on the minimap.
5 Counter UAV Obscure enemy maps for 30 seconds.
5 Ballistic Vests Deploy a bag of Ballistic Vests for your team.
5 Airdrop Trap Kill enemies with a booby-trapped airdrop crate.
8 SAM Turret Automated SAM turret that destroys aerial killstreaks.
10 Recon Drone Control a Recon Drone, targeting enemies for your team.
12 Advanced UAV Call in an Orbital Recon that shows the position and direction of enemies.
12 Remote Turret Deploy a small turret and remotely control it.
14 Stealth Bomber Call in an Airstrike undetectable on enemy maps.
18 EMP Temporarily disable enemy electronics.
18 Juggernaut Recon Receive advanced armor via Airdrop.
18 Escort Airdrop Have a V-22 Osprey airdrop and protect 4 Care Packages.

MW3 Deathstreaks

4 - Juiced - Recieve a seven second speed boost.
4 - Martyrdom - Drop a frag grenade upon death.
5 - Revenge - See the position of the last enemy that killed you on the radar.
5 - Hollow Points - Gives you extra bullet damage until you get a kill.
6 - Dead Man's Hand - Run around with a C4 in your hand so you can be like a suicide bomber.
6 - Final Stand - Survive after taking lethal damage. Your movement is slow as you get placed in a prone-like position. If you survive for long enough, you can get back up with full health.

But, I feel like this game may flop in my eyes, if there's no major innovation, something to keep me interested, then I think that I'll stick with BF3. As for the kill streaks, they don't seem all that bad, I don't like the fact that there will be a lot of booby trapped packages, but oh well.

I don't see why people like bf3, the game is so slow how do you even get triple kills is beyond me... Sure it's very possible but when you gotta turn up the sensitvity all the way and it still feels like garbage? No thanks.

Because some people prefer interactive maps(like buildings being able to be completely knocked down), big maps at that that allows for innovative thinking and coming up with new strategies on the fly. Also some people like working as a team better which you MUST do to win in BF. I personally like both styles..sometimes it's nice to just hop on CoD and go to town on everybody while other times it's nice to join up in a squad with some friends and do work that way.

Also, BF isn't about deathmatch at all..there's a deathmatch game mode but that's not how BF is supposed to be played.


To get back on topic, I'm not really a fan of any of the killstreaks(I really wish they'd go back to 3/5/7 like in COD4 but that's another topic for another day) except for the stealth bomber. Always loved using it in COD4/MW2.

Two primaries... even if it takes a perk to do it, it is still a poor idea. Especially so when sleight of hand pro will give a faster weapon swap.

Juggernaut stuff is also pretty damn gay. When you are getting completely arse ****d by the enemy not only will there be fire raining from the sky alongside care packages for your enemy, but the ******s will become harder to kill too. Superb.

"Directional UAV" suggests that they have nerfed it. Why the **** would they reduce its effectiveness while beefing up virtually everything else, I can not know. It will never make enough sense. If this game doesn't have modes without killstreaks, I ain't ******g playing it. The **** in the sky is usually on my side but it just plain ruins the game anyway.

I just wanted to say that the boobie trapped support package is going to be funny as hell on a final kill cam.

These all look like great fun! I'm really looking forward to mw3. I've seen the trailers and they look pretty cool. I say this now, but i guarantee, once I get playing the multiplayer, I'm going to be cursing haha. That's the fun of COD though, you can get completely enraged and it's okay. I prefer playing COD after a few drinks anyways, then it's just fun and you don't care about all the kids using the perks to be cheap and ruin the fun.

I like the different classes of killstreaks. It gives you a lot more options. I never get high killstreaks anyways though, so I probably will never be able to comment on those super high rewards. Booby trapped carepackages look fun though :P

Also, I'm glad they brought martyrdom back, I loved that in mw2. Some matches, that was the only way I could get kills.

Here's the confirmed list from the new multiplayer gameplay vid from the XP event. I've listed the assault and support ones but they didn't show the full list for specialist from what I saw.

Collectively, the lists are known as Stike Packages and different killstreaks are available at different kills for each.

Like some others whom have posted here, I'm more of an average CoD player. I'm more apt to go 12-8 with a bunch of assists than to be 20something and 4, so the talk about being more team player friendly certainly is appealing to me. This is why the whole "packages", scenario sounds super appealing to me.

Here's a vid going into more detail about said packages...

If you like "big body counts, the Assault package is for you. With Assault, you can call in UAVs and care package drops, naturally, but this is also where the big guns live: assault helicopters, AC130, Predator missiles, mortar strikes, Juggernaut suits. Assault brings the pain. Your streak count will reset every time you die, if you go for the Assault Strike Package.

Support is about "helping the team win," not just stacking your body count. Sounds nice, doesn't it? For the less aggressive team player, Support deals in 'streaks that lean more defensive. This includes the option to drop a remote gun turret, call in a hacked airdrop, deploy ballistic vests to your team, drop an EMP or, ultimately, call in an Osprey gunship that also delivers five airdrop packages (one of them hacked). With Support, your streak count will not reset upon death.

Finally, Specialist is all about perks. Become a super soldier with Specialist, which lets players stack on additional perks. You'll get up to six perks-including Sleight of Hand, Hardline, Recon, et al-as the 'streaks pile up. After your eighth kill, however, you get every perk available to you. You become a monster.

The only thing I don't like, and this is admittedly being nitpicky, is the fact that playing with a certain strike package wedges you into killstreaks. Oh, and why all the hate on Ghost (the perk)? I love it myself as it helps me move from point to point without being seen by gadgets that would otherwise give someone an advantage over me. Not to mention I like charging towards the front so I can flank around behind enemies. That's hard to do when someone has a chopper out dropping you as soon as you spawn.

Idk, most of the perks I felt were "cheap" have been addressed. And whoever mentioned the fact that there will be no marathon/lightweight/commando ...I share your sentiment in excitement over that as nothing was more overpowered.

For all the hate it receives from those whom have drawn lines in the FPS sand, I always have and will be looking forward to this entry.

Seriously...it's not possible to like both? I'm just sayn'...

They are joking, right? I mean, MW2 could get pretty congested with all of the killstreaks, and they've gone and made it worse? Even if all these things cancel each other out, it'll be a swirling mass of complete ****. You'll get thirty seconds of gameplay, where speed, accuracy and intelligence count for something, before all of this crap descends.

If I was getting this game I would be willing to stake a great deal of money on me never losing a full game against an enemy team that does not include a large party. It simply would not happen.

BF3 has won by default, because it looks like IW have given up on trying to make a "game" which people can "play". They have actually consciously decided to dumb CoD down.
