When you play a shooter game, do you find yourself enjoying a more sci-fi game like Halo or a more realistic one like Call of Duty? I've been playing a bit of both recently and I find myself liking one more depending on my mood. Sometimes I'd rather play a faster, more realistic title like CoD but sometimes there's nothing more fun than sticking someone with a plasma grenade or popping them with a laser.
What's your preference?

I'm the one who steps from the shadows, all trenchcoat and cigarette and arrogance, ready to deal with the madness. Oh, I've got it all sewn up. I can save you. If it takes the last drop of your blood, I'll drive your demons away. I'll kick them in the bollocks and spit on them when they're down and then I'll be gone back into darkness, leaving only a nod and a wink and a wisecrack. I walk my path alone... who would walk with me?
I guess I don't have a preference for weapons... I'm just as happy with Battlefront's blasters as I am with Battlefield's AK. I get annoyed when a bitch with a light-sabre cuts me in half, but I also really hate artillery. Really far out stuff like magical powers in shooters, I avoid like the plague. But really realistic games with weapon jams and the like, I can't stand either.

for me its like on call of Duty during day time and at night Sci-Fi :) i am 2 in 1
I love realism so much more when it comes down to it. Call of Duty (on hardcore) is the shit. But at the same time I love halo and used to play it all the time. So i don't dislike either.
Realistic style games are my genre, or at least a game where I can feel part of the story.
Even when I play Skate 2 unless I'm completing a high level challenge, I'm usually going around in the streets doing pretty realistic lines rather than the most ridiculous shit you've seen.
