Ok well i've been watching the commercials for the game Conduit for the Wii and i realized its like a new console rip off of Halo. My points are the weapons and gameplay look like ODST and the orb that unlocks things seems like a ripoff of the oracle. This is my opinon what do you guys think?

Here are the similarities between Halo and the Conduit:

That's the whole list. The object you're referring to is called the ASE or All Seeing Eye and is an actual tool in the game unlike the Oracle in Halo. It actually helps you solve puzzles and detect traps and fight enemies.
I think you just got put off by the orb. What else looks similar to you?

Not at all. The only similarities I saw were that at first glance the weapon used in this clip: Conduit gameplay looks like the plasma pistol in Halo. That's only at first though. Another thing was that the reload for the laser was similar to the rocket reload in Halo. It doesn't look like a rip off, only acouple tiny similarities.

Well like i said i think the graphics in some scenes look like ODST and the weapons i agree and i understand the orb thing but other than that i guess not really but ive only seen the commercial 2 times

Well if the graphics look the same, then it would be ODST that is copying the Conduit since the Conduit's development began before ODST. I think you're just looking into it too much. I can agree that some things look similar, but nothing screams rip off.
