Now I am left wondering which console I will wind up liking the controls on more... 360 or PS3... that is the question.
I'm getting it on PS3 so I can play it online. I don't want to try the 360 demo in case I do wind up liking it more... I don't imagine that it would be enough to really make a difference to me though.
After completing the demo on both consoles earlier, I honestly think it's a toss-up as to which one is "better"... seems like whichever one you choose, it'll be a pretty damn solid game when it's all said and done.
I haven't played a UFC game since the days I used to religiously play my Dreamcast, so I was a bit apprehensive as to how good this game would be. All of those feelings washed away within minutes of playing the demo, which made me happy. The only real 'complaint' that I have is with the way the sweat looks when you're smashing your opponent's face in as he lays on the mat... kinda looked to me like pieces of broken glass were falling from his face.
Controls are a little difficult, but seem easy to learn (if that makes sense).
It makes total sense... the developers themselves said that they made the controls that way, just so it's easier for "non-gamers" to pick it up and play immediately.

thanks - I've been trying to decide which console to get this on. I saw both and really couldn't tell any friggin difference, so this confirms I shouldn't be thinking so hard about it....
I loved the demo for this game, my only complaint about the demo is it's to easy; however the full version will have harder modes so.. I'm down for buying this game when it comes out..
Start of the fight > Superman punch > Face kick > High Knee > Superman punch > KO > I win.

I wouldn't expect them to make the demo hard. They want you to be the shit out of the other guy so you get a thrill from it. If they made it hard, and it was the first time you'd played it, you'd most likely get your ass kicked.

No, they put variable difficulty settings in the demo. How so many people have missed it is beyond me. Espescially as both I and Creep have mentioned it in this very thread. There's just no helping some people...
On the plus side, I predict a lot of shocked gamers when the game finally hits the shelves
