I haven't run into this with Fallout but that happened to me in Oblivion. It wasn't so bad in the actual game because it was a real slog getting that far, and I loved the game so much that it wasn't a chore to do, and when I finally got that powerful it felt good that I could trample everyone. However when the expansions came out it took away from the experience a little. That giant metal thing you meet at the start of Shivering Isles was dead with a couple of hits, and he was built up to be this impossible beast. The rest of the enemies were obviously even easier. It was fun to start with but in the end, the game just wasn't challenging anymore and became a bit stale.
Still one of the best games I've ever played in my life though.
Same, the expansions were nothing when they came out. I beat them quick. I played that game with a passion, lmao.

I definitely agree. I love Fallout, but Oblivion had a huge grasp on me at the time. It might just be that I'm out of high school and can't play xbox all day anymore but Fallout doesn't really make me want to play it like Obliv did,
Only six trophies left for me to unlock, so I can get the damn platinum trophy for this game... at least then I won't have to listen to my brother brag about his Fallout 3 platinum trophy anymore.
I've only got three achievements left (Kill all Behemoths, Make all weapons, and Win 50 speach challenges) to get. Might try to get 'em, might not. Depends.

Those are easier than the six that I have left to unlock... I need to grind out up to level 20 on the neutral and evil paths.

That can be knocked out in no time with the exception of the speech challenge depending on how many you've won so far.
The speech challenge is easy... if you still need a few of them to get the trophy/achievement unlocked, then I suggest you run right over to Little Lamplight and start talking to Knock Knock.

I was saying that pending on how many have already been accomplished, it can be time consuming to go through the 50 speech wins.
It's not time consuming at all if you start off your character with an eight for intelligence, and a seven for luck.
Because everyone here has done that.
I started with a little above average luck and intel because I focused mainly on my fighting skills. When I first got the game, I figured I would need a strong character to successfully navigate the wastelands flying "solo" a lot better.
Two trophies left to unlock... level 20, I am on my way. Then I can trade my PS3 copy in for some GameStop credit, and put that towards a new game. I'll let my saved game on the 360 simmer down until the level cap raise is released next month, or whenever.
I was so pissed when this game locked up on me three times last night as I was going from level eight to level 14... if we didn't have people visiting us overnight this weekend, I would have definitely shouted out some F-bombs, for sure!!
I was actually really looking forward to this one last year but then some asshat at Gamefaqs completely spoiled the storyline giving away the ending and several key plot points. I was so depressed I just lost interest in the game.

So I am guessing that someone pointed a gun at your head and forced you into reading that article?
But back on topic... I am officially finished with the PS3 version of this game... got the platinum trophy unlocked the other day, and that's good enough for me as far as that version is concerned, anyway.
As I have said before, I'll resume playing the 360 version once the level cap is raised...

WTF?? It's GameFAQs, what do you expect? You may as well complain that the plot of a movie was ruined for you when you read the novel.
