Holy ****ing ****. I've just been to 'Old Olney' in search of a grocery store... you know what I found? Twelve Deathclaws. I killed them all and thats special. Not because of the supreme effort it requires to kill them, but because I'm quite sure you're only meant to meet six, either above or below ground. But I fell through the grating thing on the pavement, so I had the pleasure of fighting my way through the sewers too. If I hadn't found a Fat Man launcher I would have thrown my PS3 out the window, no doubt. I have no ammo for any of my guns and I used forty of my fifty stimpacks.
And there doesn't seem to be any grocery store? What in the sweet blue **** is this ****?
Did you get the Prototype Medic Power Armor in the sewers?

I found it, but I left it there because I can't use it yet (haven't had the training). And I get the feeling that the Deathclaws have respawned too, because I quick travelled to Old Olney this morning and met another one. Is the medic armour any good?
There never was any Nuka Quantum in Old Olney. There was a skeleton with a note, saying he was a truck driver who had jacknifed his rig which is loaded with Quantum. Pretty funny that, he crashes his truck 200 years before I'm born and it still messes stuff up for me.

It either has only -1 to agility or no agility penalty at all. It looks fairly cooler than any other power armour, has a star patch instead of the Brotherhood patch. If you have Med-x it automatically uses them for you. It also has a funny Mr. Gusty voice which lets you know when enemies have spotted you.
knowing that beforehand, why in the world did you buy the ps3 version?
First of all, I didn't buy the PS3 version of the game... I received it as a birthday/Christmas gift last month. As I have already stated a few times before, I wanted the PS3 version of the game because I wanted an above average, lengthy game to play on that system.
I can look past the minor bugs of the PS3 version simply because I find the game to be pretty damn immersive, and just a little more interesting than I found Oblivion to be... that's really the only reason why I am disappointed that there won't be any DLC for the PS3 players out there.

They don't respawn.... well, they never did anything like that in my game. Anytime that I've ever killed a deathclaw, they've never come back to "respawn"... super mutants or raiders on the other hand, are a completely different story. If there was another deathclaw out there in Old Olney, then you failed to kill him off the first time you were there.
I've found it much easier to kill just about anything in this game once I received A3-21's plasma rifle for conquering the "Replicated Man" side quest... especially those pesky Mister Gutsy and Protectron robots that wander around the wastes.
I recently started the Head of State sidequest. I now have to take a picture of Abraham Lincoln's head. I don't know how to go about doing that ? I also killed the people ( Slavers ) living in the storage room at the Lincoln Monument way before I started the quest. Ideas are appreciated .

You don't need a picture of the memorial's head, just a picture/poster of the monument.
Spoilers
The poster is found in the Museum of history. Be sure to pick up other artifacts of Lincoln that are there and DO NOT sell them to anyone, you get nothing for them.
Also be sure to kill every slaver. Some venture around back of the memorial and around the sides.

The Deathclaws out in the wastes stay dead, but Old Olney is different... this is what "The Vault" says about it... "Old Olney is infested by Deathclaws. There appear to be a total of 7 of them roaming the town, although results may vary from player to player. There are also several Deathclaws occupying the Old Olney Sewers as well. The Deathclaws eventually respawn over time, so it is impossible to "clear" the town permanently. (The Deathclaw respawning seems to be triggered by fast-traveling to Old Olney, as I accompanied Dave from the Republic of Dave to Old Olney, and found the place quite empty with the Deathclaws still dead.)"
I went to the capitol building, it was great fun. There is just so much to kill! Loads of mutants and Mercs, as well as a Behemoth. I made about two thousand caps from selling loot, which made up for there being just about nothing there. The whole building is just a warzone.

Just pick up a few MF Cells for the Plasma Rifle and a few shots from that to a Deathclaws head should do the trick. If you can get onto the ship and you have a lockpick of 100, you can get a special, custom made Plasma Rifle that is WAY stronger and extremely useful throughout the game.
They need stronger and faster creatures though. I think they're raising the level cap with the DLC and having some big flying creatures all over the place would be cool as hell. It's not much fun when you can kill everything in a maximum of two shots.
So... is this game worth getting? I hear it's really good and all, and I have a highinterest in it... but, people say it's really slow at the beginning. I have the attention span of a squirrel, so that's not really good.

Y/n?
It's awesome, truly, truly awesome. The start is a little slow I suppose, but I never really thought about it until I heard others moaning about it. It's just character development really, and only lasts about an hour or two. After that it's action all the way. I would probably say it was GOTY 2008 for me; I'm pretty eager to play it through again.

There's no online or co-op.
The 360 is the only system other than the PC that will have DLC. Fallout 3 isn't a game to me, it's a project. Yesterday, I stayed home sick and played it for only around 8-10 hours. Keep in mind some of the VGF members on here didn't care for it ( Pre & BAMF ). I can certainly understand why. Fallout 3 just may be my favorite game of all time. If you've never played any sort of RPG before I would choose carefully.

Man... I just read that it's FP. That's a huge turn off. I'm so f*cking sick of FP
