Rejoice!

I'm most excited for this fix... I was growing tired of seeing my game "pause" whenever people on my friend list were logging online or offline.

Effin' sweet!!

Exactly... good point. I only have four side quests left to complete before I go on with the game's main quest.

It is obvious that the story is about to end. Its no accident that I found myself in the control room where the story ends. What I didn't expect was for the game, a big ol' free roaming RPG, to end at the same time. The game shouldn't ****ing end. Oblivion didn't, even GTA didn't. If there was a big warning saying WELCOME TO THE HOTEL CALIFORNIA on the door to Project Purity's Control Room after the assault then it might just be acceptable. But I lost my save with only about half of the side quests done, and only about a fifth of locations explored. Thats just not fair.

Yeah, the same happened to me. I didn't even hit level 20 yet. I didn't mind to much because I wanted to start a new game as a good guy anyway.

Thought I should mention that I never saw an update (for the PS3 version) yesterday when I played the game after posting what I did... weird.

I really hoping the DLC comes out soon. All this game has done is make me play Oblivion even more, and Fallout 3 is too good of a game to just have laying around.

Thanks for the heads up. It will be nice to have some new weapons, armor, and items from that time in the Fallout world.

I just glaced over the article but I hope it's like Oblivion, which I hate to always compare it to, where the items in the DLC can be used in the normal game. This of course is easier for Oblivion and Shivering Isles as the game and expansion pack are in the same time frame.

Still irks me that there won't be any DLC for the PS3 version of the game... eh, thankfully I have plenty of other games to play that I got as gifts for my birthday/Christmas.

knowing that beforehand, why in the world did you buy the ps3 version? im not turning this into a bashing thread but with all the extra quarks and no DLC coming for the ps3 version, i figured that would have been a no brainer for a multiconsole owner looking for the best bang?

DLC was obviously to be expected, but I really don't think specifics were announced until after the game hit the streets. If my friends hadn't asked me to borrow it when I was done I probably would've bought the PS3 copy because it was an RPG. Didn't all the DLC for Oblivion finally make it to the PS3 version ?

well it was long rumoured that dlc wasnt going to hit the ps3 for a long time, if anything or ever, but the biggest thing for me was that a few days before release there were reports of extra bugs int he ps3 version on top of it not being as slick as the 360 vers. that alone would have persuaded me. That freinds list bug alone would have been enough for me, i saw that in action a couple weeks ago.

I didn't here about any bugs for the PS3 probably because I just don't pay much attention to anything Sony related anymore. I'm not suprised though just like I'm not suprised about the DLC for the PS3 and that Creep said the patch never came out yesterday either.

Yes, along with the GOTY edition with Shivering Isles and Knights of the nine included for free. PS3 users could still get a limited edition of the game with the DLC on the disk. I'm sure Bethseda would gain money off of it.

Holy ****ing ****. I've just been to 'Old Olney' in search of a grocery store... you know what I found? Twelve Deathclaws. I killed them all and thats special. Not because of the supreme effort it requires to kill them, but because I'm quite sure you're only meant to meet six, either above or below ground. But I fell through the grating thing on the pavement, so I had the pleasure of fighting my way through the sewers too. If I hadn't found a Fat Man launcher I would have thrown my PS3 out the window, no doubt. I have no ammo for any of my guns and I used forty of my fifty stimpacks.

And there doesn't seem to be any grocery store? What in the sweet blue **** is this ****?
