I feel like I am using a Stimpack every fifteen seconds. There is almost no way of avoiding attcks from those retarded wastelanders. I pretty much hate this game and I've only put in approx. three hours worth of game time.
I always get my azz handed to me until I reach level 10 or so. Which for me is the same for all RPG's.

I dunno. But OXM gave it Game of the Year. I think I'm going to pick up where I left off on this game today. It's been almost a month since I last played it and I'm fiending for it.

Stay hidden or behind objects then run up on them at a decent distance (since you're still a low level) and go into VACS (I think that's what it's called) mode and just blast the enemies face off. It's a great way to start the game until you get stronger and better with weapons so you can start blowing limbs off.

That's what I do for the most part. I'm just trying to tough it out. The game has gotten a bit better.

I think there's DLC for Fallout coming in January , February , & March. I believe I read that in the latest OXM .?.
As I have already stated, I received a copy of the game on PS3 for Christmas, and from what I have been hearing lately, the DLC will only be available for the 360 and PC versions of the game.
And besides, one of my New Year resolutions is to never read or purcahse that craptastic OXM magazine anymore... their magazine isn't even worthy enough to line the bottom of either one of my brother's birdcages. :vomit:

Three hours worth of game play is wayyyyyy too soon to give up on this game. I think the game truly gets addicting once you have a "hideout" for your character, and you're able to store all of the (worthy) items and stuff that you find throughout your travels in the wasteland.
I have a question that I hope someone around here can answer for me... where can I find more bobby pins (lockpicks)? I just ran out of what I had stored, and I only need to pick nine more locks in order to get that stinkin' trophy.

I think you can buy them for next to nothing from all good retailers.

Okay... but Moira Brown never seems to have them, though... and she usually hooks me up real good. Guess I'll have to look around. Thanks for the info.

I find that Ghouls tend to carry alot of Bobby Pins and there pretty easy to kill with 1 shot gun blast to the face.

Not in my game... from what I have seen so far, ghouls are good for picking up extra bottle caps. Whenever I find bobby pins, they're usually tucked away inside first aid kits with the stimpaks and other medications.
EDIT: Getting the "Psychotic Prankster" trophy the other night was hilarious... wound up getting that thanks to Mr. Crowley, after I completed the "Ya Gotta Shoot 'em in the Head" side quest that he sent me on.

I'm saving that side quest for last. I have a pimpin love suite at TenPenny with my sexy bodyguard , follower & trusty pack mule Clover.
I'm getting ready to go take out the hippy tree hugger colony with my Flamethrower.

Tenpenny Tower is lame... filled with a bunch of people who think they're better than everyone else... I can't wait to enslave every single person in there, once I play through the game a second time as an evil mo-fo.
No warning at all that the "end" of the game kills your savegame. That was irritating- I always intended to start again but under my own terms.
I'm playing through it a second time, kind of annoyed that I tagged and beefed up Laser Weapons since I just built myself a Rock-It launcher. Its fun to fire cups and teddies at people, but I have found nothing more satisfying than hitting a raider in the head with a frikkin' steam gauge assembly.
I am nearly certain that I met a group of "Chinese Commandos" outside the SuperDuper Mart but I wasn't in a fit state at the time... did I just confuse them with mercenaries with chinese swords/pistols/rifles or do they actually exist?
Power Armour was a big diasappointment for me. The Brotherhood always looked so cool using it but the recon armour is much better.
It seems like a lot of people I know accidentally run into the end of the game. I don't understand how though. I knew exactly when the end of the game was and never started the last main quest until I was done with all of the side quests. If you look at your achievements/trophies list, you can tell which are the main quests and which are side quests so when you have all but one main quest done, stop doing them until you're ready.

With a little strat guide help. I found a path of my own that I'll wring out until I do the final chapter. With careful planning...I'll stretch it through the 3 DLC's and finish upon that. I will not go through this game again for responsibilities sake.
Someone mentioned the end of the game 'killing' the savegame. Does anyone know if the forthcoming DLC be akin to the downright annoying Mass Effect DLC that required you to have not finished the game to play it?
