I blew that damned place off of the face of the earth.
Pros: (spoilers possibly)
Nice explosion
Nicer house though a bit smaller
You can still complete The Wasteland Guild (quite funny)
There's a cool quest that's like a mini war for the Tower
Did I mention the nice explosion?
Cons:
Bad Karma
No more Megaton, though TT has some good traders
The Area around Megaton (which would be called the Megaton Ruins) is rather dust after words.
If you do blow up the city, just be sure to kill Luca Simms to get his awesome hat, and to get the Strength booblehead in his house.
I blew it up, Lol and yes I did grab the Sheriff's Hat. I like having the TenPenny tower Apartment. - 1,000 Bad Karma for the city nuke, guess I know which direction I'm going now.

Well, if you like setting off nukes then there is a part in the game where you can fire off three or four of them, watch them launch, arch, and land back on Earth.

Goood
Just like with Megaton I'll be doing a day time & night time viewing of the fireworks.
I rented it but I have to return it soon and I hope I get this for Christmas; I put this and the dark night blu-ray at the top of the list. Those are really the only things I am hoping for.
Not only is it a Fat Man, but it's a Fat Man that fire 8 mini nukes at one time. Getting it is a long and difficult process, but it's worth it.
Just from reading about it, the process doesn't seem long or difficult. It's just a "go to this place and you have it" kind of thing.
I believe I know exactly where it is actually. There's a few buttons that you have to press on the upper levels to open up the bomb shelter. When you get into the shelter, there's a TON of food, weapons, and ammo along with a bobble head doll. I haven't been in it but I believe it's behind the strong security door that has a high hacking rating.
I couldn't get it because I focused on lockpicking rather than hacking.
No, even if you have 100 Lockpick or Science (which I did when I found it),you need to search the National Guard complex for records and journals (which appear as notes in your Pip-Boy 3000) for the password. It took me forever to find.

You need to find 5 keller family holotapes, with 3 or 4 of them being in places that are not located on the map, and at low levels the security bots rip you to shreds inside the bunker.

I don't have problems with anything anymore. I basically run around now on Fallout Rambo style with my Alien Laser Pistol and the Fat Man.
Sometimes when I'm feeling up to it, I'll bring out the old school sledgehammer (my favorite weapon at lower levels.)
I got Fallout 3 for Christmas, put a few hours of play-time into it, and decided it's not my kind of game. I think it's an awesome game, but it's not for me. The game's just too open and too massive for me to enjoy. There's so much to it that I can't get into the game. I guess I'm just not a RPG guy. I'm trading in Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 tomorrow for Bioshock. I have a PS3, so Bioshock is relatively new for my console, and I've never played it before. I may pick up LittleBigPlanet while I'm at it too. My brother got LBP for Christmas, and it looked awesome when I was watching him play it.
