Which one is better? You decide. Please no spamming and make sure your comments are justified. In my opinion, they are the same because they both have ups and downs.
Ohhhhe Nooooes! not again. im just going to play it real neutural here. My question to you is, do u just want to kno what we think? or do u need help deciding or somthing? If you want to know, most of this board is in bed with the PS3, if u want to know.

I think that the PS3 is better because it's the only system I have. Therefore it must be the best. Don't try to tell me that the 360 is better because I'll have no choice but to label you as a Fanboy.
i like them both i like the xbox for the face that it is easy to access things and there is always a game you can play online. and that all my friends have xbox
ps3 i luv it for the blu ray. and for the fact it has some sweet games. it has some of the greatest graphics i have seen better than xbox and i have been with xbox from the start but ps3 has kinda turned me a little lol. but hey that thing is a tank and is a great system. and the fact it has a floating disk drive not a tray is awesome.
both i would have to say they both kick butt and i like them. yes they have there ups and down but i can get along with anything i can play on. so
I actually made this thread because this came up on a lo of different forums I was on where people were in bed with 360. I was looking for a forum with people who like the PS3 like me. Thanks to all those Anti-Fan boys.

Use the search feature, that's why it's there. I have seen at least 4-5 threads about the same damn thing. Worst part is, it's always the same. Fans of the 360 share their opinions, PS3 share their's and it turns into a huge flame fest...
i don't think i have the right to put out my opinion because i've only experienced the ps3 first hand. i know the xbox 360 is a worthy console too which i give my respect too but i just can't fork out enough money to test it out to it's full capacity.
It's all a matter of preference, but to help your decision, check out these three great threads that we already have on the topic. I'm sure you'll find a lot of useful information in them:
PS3 The PS3 has great exclusive games coming out such as Socom Confrontations, Metal Gear Solid, Afrika, and more! I don't like the PSN store because they don't offer as much as XBL does. When you are playing a game, you can't go back to the main menu without exiting the game to invite your friends. I don't see how its possible to run clans unless the game has a clan system. The PS3 is more powerful than the XBOX 360. It also has BLU-RAY!
XBOX 360 The XBOX 360 also has good exclusive games coming out such as Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and more! I like the XBOX LIVE Market way more because they offer movies, shows, and more demos(You have to pay with gamer points). You must pay $8 a month to use Xbox Live, but its worth it. When you are playing a game, you can actually use the dashboard to listen to music, or invite friends/clan members to play with.
I traded in my PS3 for an XBOX 360 because I was getting bored of it. I think the main reason for that was because it didn't have many games out back then. I like my XBOX 360 to this date, and I am not even bored of it. What I would do is make a list of exclusive games, features, and accessories. Than compare both lists and see what you like better.
to get the best next gen experience i advise saving all your money and puchasing both systems, now that experience is also not complete without an Wii. I honestly cant recommend just one of those systems as they are all incomplete in some way to me and they all seem to complement each other. Even though the hardware isnt too reliable, the 360 seems to have the most complete package overall (software-network-hardware-)
but why ask which system your going to get without even defining your tastes? it pretty much seems useless if we know nothing about you.

I agree with you on the network part. But I have to say that software and DEFINITELY hardware goes to the PS3. The software one is arguable, but you can't argue the hardware aspect. PS3 wins that area, hands down. With the PS3 the hardware is much more reliable, the processor is better, graphics capabilites are better, it has Blu-ray, and it comes standard with wireless capabilites. And I would even give software to the 360 last year, but not this year. PS3's lineup is too strong this year, and it has just been confirmed that Bioshock is coming out on PS3 this fall, so the 360 will no longer be able to claim that as one of its big exclusive titles. But in just this year the PS3 will have Metal Gear Solid 4 (with Metal Gear Online), Resistance 2, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, and SOCOM: Confrontation. Those will be the huge system sellers. 2009 will be strong too, with God of War III and Killzone 2 looking to lead the way.
your not understanding, i said overall it has it has the best mix of everything, especially for new users. Meaning, it has a dependable network, higher percentage of games, and affordable and abundant hardware/prehiprials all around.
Omega WTF! we were talking about dreamcast!! couldnt you have waited until the next xbox vs ps3 thread to start merging things?

No. I have a pedicure planned for that day, and I'm not rescheduling again.
People can pine on all they want about hardware specs, release schedules, whatever. All that stuff is bullsh#t. What matters is the experience.
I own both consoles, I use both consoles, and if I had to pick one it'd be the 360. It is just an all around better experience.
I'm a computer programmer and a web developer who technology is like second nature to, and the PS3 to me is the most overly unnecessarily complicated thing I've ever used.
You can have all the titles in the world lined up, and the best hardware on the market, but if it isn't a good time then none of that other stuff is worth a hill of beans.
That's just talking about the consoles themselves. If you really want it to get ugly, we can talk about how the online services stack up against eachother.
