Xbox 360 is like god and PS3 is like a cockroach. Halo 3, Gears, Gears 2, Bioshock, etc.
It has everything you really need from PS3 and I swear to god... If anyone dares to write "But what about MGS4 and Little Big Planet?" Heads will roll.

Only problem with what you said is Halo is garbage and Bioshock is multi-platform. So with your list of Gears and Gears 2 standing, it seems like 2 games apparently can make a console.

Yes, I know a lot of these games are not for everyone, but all of them are good, if not great games for their respective genre.
It isn't 2007 anymore. PS3 has a lot more competitive lineup. I can list a large list of great Xbox 360 games as well, so don't think I am trying to be some total fanboy. I am simply showing that the PS3 isn't a pushover as you suggest.
If you don't have a PS3 now, that is fine, but I feel bad for those who don't have one at the end of 2009!

But opinion or not, the game is not garbage and thats a fact. You can dislike a game and think it sucks to high hell, but you gotta give credit where its due. I absolutely hate ratchet and Clank biut i wont dissmiss that they are a group of well made games.

The wii I know a lot of people say graphics don't make a game.. to me it does I need that realism and to be completely honest every one knows the wii or nintendo will never care about graphics. That is why the wii is off my list. (Ps. It is fun when you are drunk boxing I give you that)
But for some reason I love my ps3 I buy Dust off spray XL just for my ps3 I put a hole in the back of my dresser so I can have my controllers hidden in my draw while they charge so my ps3 looks amazing. I get so addicted to the games I love the controller it just fits me so well.
I can't see how people honestly "HATE" one over the other I can understand what I feel about not liking one over the other but I just don't understand how people argue about it..

I just like the features. Ever since i got live on the xbox back in 02' and have been growing wtih both the PS2 and the xbox Live service, I was always hoping for something fresh and new on the PS3, since the Wii had thier channels and virtual console and and the xbox had a totally revamped dashboard with a ton of features. I mean, we can all admit on this, Sony totally slept on this generation going into it.
They put alot of money into the insides and the bluray and I applaud them for making that work, but they figured they would just put it out and people would flock to it like hoes on a rapper. The masses were appalled at the retarded controller, the price, and doubting what the system could do, and Sony just went in at literally the last moment and started throwing any and every feature from other systems that they could to make amends, while promising for the next few years they'll make up for it. Thats not okay in my book, and I was really dissapointed, having spent all that money on it at launch and really getting a half a system, and having to buy a couple sepreate items just to make the setup complete. On the other hand Microsfot had its strategy all along, and right out of the box gave me something cool (the updated LIVE service) and made my game playing experience triple its worth. Now I cant live without it damn near.
I also cant live without the NXE, its so....so... great. Does anybody else feel that way too? I know im not the only one.

I'm kind of confused... What did you have to buy for the ps3 besides Hdmi cables witch you have to get for 360 also? When I got my ps3 I bought an Hdmi cable and a video game? When I got my Xbox I bought the internet (not complaining) a hard drive and at that time it didn't have Hdmi cables but if I got one now I'm pretty sure I would have to.

Its not the fact that they took ideas, that happens all the time. The problem was they had, bsides bluray and the cell, no other origional ideas and tacked them on at the last moment. If it wasnt for the public outlash at the crazy boomerang controller, the outrageous price, and the hands off policy that Sony wanted to take with the PSN, it would still be a beefed up PS2.
Right before the system came out, they decided to go with the old PS2 controller with an xbox live guide button (you can tell it was tacked on, as it didnt do anything at all at launch), then throw in some half assed wii motion sensing. It was almost like a sixth graders last minute science project that he tries to dress up during the ride on the bus.
Even the GUI is uninspired, using the PSP interface........how original.
Then they try to hype the system up as much as the PS2 was years ago( yea you Kutaragi), and make all these promises of the PSN and the Home, like they just had that **** up their sleeves. Please, they had just started on all that crap right before the system came out, because if they had a cool idea like HOME beforehand, knowing they were going up against LIVE, it would have came out at launch, or shortly after. Im not convinced. Same thing with PSN, trophys, not integrating the underground service(until now), and pretty much every other feature was tacked on just so they could play catch up and say 'o we have that too' But except HOME, none of it is really unique or a deal breaker.
Though the video quality is good and the themes are cool, im kinda liking the NXE themes better, but I have to see the new PSN premium themes first.

Anyways, I like the XMB. It is like...Sony's "signature" GUI now. PSP, PS3, their TVs, and some other things use it. It is quick, sleek, and everything is easy to find. The NXE is like going through 20 different folders on your PC to get to your porn folder. You even have to go through some "Spotlight" thing, and some advertisements just to get to where you log in at. Also, since we are talking about reusing GUIs....Windows Aero anyone?
Microsoft has had a unified online system since the first Xbox, which gave them the advantage on the next generation of consoles. Sony provides a decent, free service which is getting better over time....and well.......still free. I am not complaining. Yes it could be better, but I like to play games on my gaming consoles, and that is what I do.
In my honest opinion, the only thing Sony is doing wrong this generation is marketing (Microsoft has a 360 logo tacked onto every game commercial, 95% of them even being multiplatform. You get a Sony commercial once a week if lucky, and they are wondering why LBP didn't sell as well as most people expected), maybe focusing too much on Home, and not taking the financial hit by paying off a few developers for some of the more important games (FF13).

Thats a low blow, but let me put it to you like this. I went through 5 PS2s because of a Lens problem, which was an issue for a good chunk of ps2s all until the slim version was released, and I didn't care, the system was fun. I had no problem waiting to get a new one (usually processing my own faulty returns via gamestop) because I could just as easily return right back to fun. Its the same with the 360, at least you can go back to fun. Ive never had my personal launch 360 break down on me, but LIVE is so addicting I honestly dont mind waiting. If this was the case, everyone woulda hopped ship to Sony ages ago.
Im im no way trying to say it was ok to have that issue with the insides of the 360 however.
