Just making sure you guys saw IGN's review of Grand Theft Auto IV. They gave it a PERFECT 10 out of 10! They said that's the first time they've given a game a 10 since Soul Calibur in 1999. As to which console version is better, that's a personal opinion. The Xbox 360 version will have the extra downloadable content, but IGN said that the PS3 version visually looks better (page 5 of the article, last paragraph). Here's the link to the review...
For those wanting to know which version looks better, the edge goes to the PS3. The textures and framerate are comparable, but the PS3 has far less pop-in. The 360 has richer colors, but the PS3 has better anti-aliasing making it look a little cleaner. Because GTA IV can preload onto the PS3 hard drive, the in-game loads are faster. Don't worry Xbox owners, the load times are rarely more than 30 seconds and don't occur very often. The slight visual edge goes to PS3, but the 360 is no slouch. Either version will do you proud.
That video really (and I mean really) reminded me of San Andreas.
I think it was mainly the driving part to it, don't know why.
The review sounds promising, but some comments in there make me wonder why it was given a 10 in the same review.
This review/video didn't get me any more excited for the game, I don't think it's possible for me to be more excited and ready for this game than I already am.
LMAO at that hooker in the video review bouncing on the pork sword in the car. I've never watched any GTA video other than the trailers. I gotta say this game will have my full attention.
Wow that video is amazing. I am just so upset, I can't play it because I just recently took my xbox 360 in for repairs. i got the 2 rings and my disc trays broken. do you guys know how long it will take? the guy said 4-6 weeks:(

cross your fingers and hope for the best man. my 360 did that exact same thing, the disc tray started acting screwy and then 3 weeks later i got red ringed. i sent mine in to microsoft and had it back in just over a week. the entire process took a total of 2 weeks from the moment i called microsoft until i had to meet up with the ups guy (long story) and had my box back in my hands.

I just got done reading the seven page review and encourage everyone else to do so.
England, remember how you and I wanted "interactions" and random events by AI? We got it and then some.
In the review, the author describes that he was standing at a corner of an intersection. A lady was stopped at a red light in her car. She looked in the rear-view mirror just before a man eyeing a girl walking down the street slammed into her. The man got out, seeing if the woman was okay. The author said this had nothing to do with a mission or any interference by him, it just simply happened. He also said these events were far from rare, such as cops chasing a criminal and things of that sort.
I was hoping for a little of AI interaction, so to speak, but what he said gave me what I wanted times a hundred. One word: SICK

Yea I saw that part about the car accident at the lights. I wasn't all that impressed with it until they went into detail saying why it happened and what happened next. Definitely will be waiting at stop lights for that to happen when I get the game.
Maybe they will have people throwing themselves off buildings in the "financial" place when their stocks crash.
