Cross-Platform Game DiscussionGeneral discussion amongst games that are available across multiple consoles. Popular games will have their own forum below.
You're not blind. That's the only thing that worries me about this title. They first showed the preview video 2 years ago.
All the sites I checked just say 2007. We'll see. It still looks fantastic though.
I like the RPG aspect of it. You figure the majority of us spend months playing the same game with the same crew, so why not earn some 1337 hax for your dudes while playing?
Technically they're not aliens, they're a subspecies of man.
Well it all depends on who you're talking about. If you're talking about the Flood, then you'd be right, but if you're talking about the Cov, then you'd be wrong. They are aliens.
Yeah, I too immediately thought the same "wtf 2 yrs!?". Then after further research, this was originally intended for PC. Then they decided to go Xbox as well, then the 360 came out. So I'd imagine we'll see this by the end of summer.
But that doesn't explain why it hasn't been released on PC yet?
Oh well, a good game is a good game regardless of how long it takes to make and get out. We just have to wait to see if this ends up being a good game or not.

I was talking about Huxley, not Halo.

I think it's supposed to be a cross platform game online. Like the PC and 360 owners play together online at the same time. Maybe they're working some crap out for the online aspects of that department.

That is what they had figured from the beginning, but they had recently stated that PC and 360 gamers will not be able to play together. On a game like that, PC gamers would dominate those 360 gamers like CRAZY, which is maybe why they decided not to do it, maybe other reasons as well.
I was starting to wonder if the next Duke Nukem would be out before Huxley, but it doesn't look that way.
There's a Korea-only, closed beta of the PC version underway right now, for which they also have a website up for. Finally a leaked schedule suggests we'll be seeing Huxley sometime in the 1st quarter next year.
For those who have forgotten, or never knew, Huxley is a game coming (nearly 3 years in the making) for PCs and Xbox 360 that marries the MMORPG experience with the tried and true FPS.
