This post is for all the Gamers out there, gamers who are willing to trying something new and devote to a new game! After seeing this you ask what game is it? How much money do i have to spend. Well, I will tell you this. You don't have to spend a penny unless you want to. But the good news is, you can make money, although there is no guarantee you will make big money.
The games name is
War Of Conquest.
This game is slightly a cross over between the game
Risk, and
Diablo. If you like games along these general lines then WoC is the game for you! This game is not some easy to understand game though, it is a little complicated, what it takes to succeed is time, presistance and the will to learn more about the game.
This game becomes very addictive over time though! What this game lets you do is, because it is a small community of players and everybody knows each other it allows a player to come and create his own Ego! For those Egotistical people out there it's perfect! Once you learn the game then combine that with your own Ego, you thus create your own image on the game, making people fear or like you. What you do is your own demise!
The game won't look like much when you start playing, you'll think to yourself 2D game? poor graphics what kinda crappy game is this??? Well i asked myself the same questions when i started, but after 3weeks of learned i got hooked! But what do you know i played it for 4 Years! Talk about Addictive!
What you do in this game is.
You create a Nation with whatever name you desire, your nation starts off primitive and small, with a single land space. You will then be able to settle vacant territory, take land and resources, and gain your nation levels, with each level you gain a technology, with a good combination of resources and technologies, you are on your way to becoming a powerful nation that can conquer anyone.
Knowing this now you will then ask what is the point of the game and how can i make money? Well, the point of the game is to capture valuable points upon the make called orbs, these orbs are what nations main purpose is to obtain. The Orbs give you money, the orbs come in four different forms, and they pay different, theres
Orbs of Noontide,
Shadow,
Destiny and
Fire. They pay worst to most in that order. Fire being the most Noontide being the least.
With orbs you make money, but money doesn't come easy, Orbs only generate as much money that is put into the game through paypal. Now i did say you did not have to pay, and you don't, but in order to buy good technologies you require game "Credits" and in order to get game credits you must purchase money into the game, you receive 100 Credits for every dollar purchased. The money spent then goes into the game, thus making orbs pay!
You must also take note there are different factors and limitations on game play to prevent Super Power nations from remaining Super Powers for long! This is to create fair and equal playing fields. Different Resources and what resources you obtain measure your strength in your nation. Your Nation can have a maximum team of six players, anymore then six players and you will lose a percentage in your strength. Your Team of six players depending on who you recruit can then conquer WoC! The Max Level in WoC in
Level 400! Good Luck trying to achieve that!
As a new Nation and a New Player you will start out in New Players Land fighting among other new players, so theres no fear of fighting Veterans for the first two weeks! After two weeks you will then get migrated to Veteran Lands and fight the best of the best in the game! Another shred of good news is even if someone destroys all your squares of your nation you can't die! once your last square gets eliminated the game migrates your nation to another point on the map! And for those players who take "breaks" during game play for months on end, don't fret! you can simply "suspend" your nation which takes your nation off the map and the game keeps it suspended for up to a year, but you can come back whenever you want and restore it and play again!
For every attack you make you receive points, these points go towards your nations levels, and with each attack you make, you receive equal points to your own Personal Points, over playing time these Points will accumulate and you could get your player name on the All Time Scoring Players List! This isn't the only list, you can also get on the all time money list, which shows how much money your nation has made Overall, and how much it has made all individual orbs! It gives you a chance to set goals and accomplish them! Perhaps the most complex thing about this game will be the Statistics and how they effect battle and what special abilities they have. Some suggestions i make to new comers...
1. Don't spend all your free credits you receive when you first create your nation, you are given 250, save some, or most for good and precious technologies, and if you screw up and do spend some. Don't fret you can simply make a new nation and start over!
2. This game allows you to have two WoC Clients up at once, thus allowing you to have a name in two nations, giving you a chance to level up two nations. Although you cannot have both clients on one computer in the same nation! HOWEVER if you have access to two or more computers you can use more then one name in your nation thus enhancing your attack rate and allows you to attack more frequently and faster, getting jobs done easier!
3. Read the Games Code of Conduct and obey the chat rules, if you don't you can receive chat mutes, or even game bans. This is designed to keep the players community minded.
4. Look for teammates and friends while you play, it is much more fun to play in teams then solo, more experienced players play solo.
5. Time is everything, the more time you spend on the game, and how you use the time, will depend how successful you are. You can't expect to become a superpower overnight!
6. Try to keep your Nations "main base" as square of rectangle as possible without mountains and such in it. It will keep your strength up.
