Who's playing Wow?

Downloaded the trial edition online and that's enough for me. This game is fun as hell, but I could only see it ruining my social life. It's something to do though for the next week while I'm still on break.

It can ruin your social life if you don't have self control. When playing MMO's such as WoW theres a point where you just have to stop and go do something, and if you want, play some more later. I think this applies to all games.

On WoW here. Ill play a month or 2 then quit for a couple months.
All but 2 Of my toons are on Doomhammer. My main is only a 40 dwarf hunter.

My Horde side toons are all with the Guild Red October. Where I have 3 or 4. Mains there are an Undead priest and tauren warrior.

I'd play but it would take over like Everquest did when I was younger, can't be having video games control my life but who knows it looks fun as hell.

Yeh, it takes over your life if you really get into it. I got 50 days played time in the last 8 months. Holy fuk, you wonder where the time went. I havnt quit yet, because I still have alot of friends on there and its fun as hell, but I have cut back on my time played. Plus I been going out alot lately, also having a gf really helps you to cut down.

Seriously, this game requires alot of self control or it can seriously take over your life.

yeah i really can take over you life but thats only if you have no self control i only allow myself to play for 4 hours and thats only on days we raid in my guild otherwise im out doing other things.

So I should not be saying this in an all WOW post, but I don't find wow to be nearly as addicting as say EQ was and SWG was in the beginning. Dont get me wrong, I love WOW, I just dont play it like I used to play those older MMO's. I don't know what it is. Maybe one to many MMOs.
