Age of Empires
I just went through all six pages and saw nothing about AOE. I was sure we had a thread on it, maybe it got deleted.
Does anyone still play this games? I was looking through some old boxes recently and found AOE II: The Conquerors. I popped it in and remembered how fun it is. I was thinking of going online today or tomorrow. Anyone want to play?

I love(d) that game. I still have it scuba, I just need to get out my desktop and hook some things up. If I get my wifi hooked up to it I'll play you via ISP if you like. That game was always so much fun.
I'm gonna be rusty...

Sounds good, haha. Do you have The Conquerors?
I'll figure out how to set everything up and then post back when you're all set.
Go Vikings! Haha

I'd be down for whenever.
I went on Wikipedia to try and see if they had an online section to set it up and they said Gamespy was Microsoft's official place to play AOE. I went there and it didn't help, so I have no idea how to set it up. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you talking how to set up multiplayer via IP address? I remember you can play by manually entering your opponent(s)' IP to directly connect to their computer and play a game. I remember that MSN Zone used to control the online stuff, but I tried playing on there a while back and had no luck with it. A few months ago my conquerors disk worked fine, but my PC is old and sometimes it doesn't read disks or want to connect to the internet... maybe I'll get lucky!

I suppose we can try playing using that method.
Do you want to try and play right now? I'm sure we can get it running.

If gamespy doesn't work lemme know me and my friend found a way to connect with IP adresses, you just have to get some program thingy.
