Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Game is being released sometime soon and preorders are available on the official website. Also on the frontpage they have a pretty cool gameplay video.

Ive been looking forward to this game for sometime now. To me it looks like an unrushed version of BF2142. I think the game also relys alot more on teamwork and tactis then any of the games in the BF series aswell.

So anyone else thinking about picking this one up?

I've always been a big fan of of the Quake series, and this game looks just as promising. I'm definitely going to pick this game up when it is released.

Do you have any idea how many playes it is going to support for each team since the official website doesn't feel like loading for me at this moment.

I looked around and I couldn't find anything. But my guess is the max server size will be somthing like 64 or somewhere around that. But thats just a guess.

I forgot to add that the game is also coming out for 360, PS3 and Mac's, but I believe their release date is later in the year.

Hopefully the game doesn't lag too muc with that many people on one server. I think I would rather have a smaller game (I'm sure we'll have the option to anyway) that doesn't lag, then a free-for-all of 64 players that lags like none other.

I can't wait to see how the graphics of this game look on my computer. I may not have the best graphics card out there, but it is definitely a beast when it comes to computer games (GeForce 7950).

Im sure you will find server sizes ranging in all different numbers, I was guessing 64 to be the max. I also enjoy smaller amounts of people, unless its a huge map then it gets boreing. Small maps + less people = Intense gameplay usually lag free.

I got my gaming rig last year and I also have the GeForce 7950 (beast of a card). I hope my computer can handle the game atleast on its default settings. From what I have seen of the graphics they are awesome. But then again hopefully not to awesome to the point where my PC can't handle it.

What does the rest of your PC consist of?

Here's what I'll be running the game on:

Core 2 duo E6700 2.66 GHz (Of course it has the ability to be overclocked)
2 GB RAM
Geforce 7950

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+
GeForce 7950 GX2
2 GB RAM

I bought my PC like a month before the Core 2 Duos came out. I was kind of impatient, but Im set for atleast a while with my current setup.

When I was thinking about purchasing the Core 2 Duo I took at least two weeks to decide. When I finally went to place my order on NewEgg, the price had gone up by almost $100. I was so mad, but I decided to still purchase it since it's going to last me for such a long time.

I forgot where I read it, but I remember a article talking about the weapons for both sides were going to be drastically different, unlike the usual mass multiplayer games where the two different sides usually have the same weapons, with differences in their name or appearence. I think that suits the game, seeing how the Strogg are an alien race, and should have completely different technoolgy than the humans.

Game looks pretty sick, if it ever comes out for PS3 I might just get it.

Those vehicles look pretty fun too lol.

If the retail is anything like the beta forget it the game sucks. The gameplay graphics teamwork all of it felt like a 6 year old game dont waste your time on this pile of crap.
