hes right. Let me tell you a little story about this game. I have a few friends that play it. Jacob and Humpty are my two main characters for this true story. Not too long ago my friend leroy and I called Jacob to see if he wanted to have a lan party together so we could play some real games like counter strike, quake 3, etc. When we ask him if he wants to come over he replies "Oh sorry guys, the new patch for WoW just came out and i really need to get my lvl 60." Now how lame is that? Not only does he play WoW, but he also has a job to keep up with it... but last week he only went to work 1 day of the week and he was on xfire everyday all day play... you guest it... WoW.
Now as for Humpty. He only bought WoW for a christmas gift for his girlfriend at the time. Well, he tried it and loved it. Him and his girlfriend went out and bought 2 brand new computers and 2 more copies of WoW just so they could both play it... including her 12 year old son... which that is were the 1st computer went. So all day long the whole house hold did nothing but play WoW. Now thats not the bad part. When he lived with this girl he lived a few states away. When they broke up, he moved back. His parents house didnt have internet so he asked me if he could bring his computer over. I had no problem with that, except for the next few months, HE LIVED THERE! He stayed all day everyday playing WoW. He did not help my mother and myself out with groceries for rent or anything... and yes he did have a job. I believe he got payied 6.15 an hour and he got 40 hours a week in. So here i am with a guy living in my house, USING me for my internet just so he can play this game and not helping out with the house or anything. Not only that but i do him this favor by letting him practically live in my house and use my internet and not pay a dime for it, but whenever i needed a favor or a ride somewhere or anything... he wouldnt do it. He would claim he had no gas or something stupid... when he just filled it up that morning. He also has the worst temper ever. I once added up how long he played a week (taking time out to eat), it added up to a minimum of 65 hours a week on WoW. I guess i didnt have the heart to tell him to get out but my mother (bless her heart) did. So i finally got him out of the house. I introduced him to a girl... little did i know SHE PLAYED WOW TOO!!! Now he lives at her house and using her internet... but of course they both play together all the time, by the way she is 17 and still living at home... and he is 21. So now tell me... do you think he ever comes around and hangs out with me now that he has internet again? HELL NO!!! Before he met this girl and was out of my home, we hung out together for about two months... now that he has this girl and wow, i havnt seen him for almost 4. Now you tell me that WoW isnt evil. My advice to you is uninstall the game, cancel your account and take that ****ing game out to the driveway and smash it with a hammer. Im not trying to be mean... and i dont think i am. All im doing is trying to protect you, you are a gamer and i care for gamers.
By the way, Humpty lost his job about 6 or 7 months ago and hasnt found one since. I got a job that pays 11 dollars an hour in less that 3 hours so i know he can get a job. Hes a muach (if thats how you spell it) always has been and always will be.
