Yep. I'm sure. There were Canadians and Americans and Germans and all that good stuff.

Its not necissarily(sp?) the type of spyware that harms your comp and stuff.

All it does is monitor your BF2142 gaming habits, monitors which maps you play the most, what kit you use most, what party of the map your at the most..etc.

If your wondering,"Why would they monitor where you are on the map?" its for advertising reasons I think, so they know where to put the most in-game advertisement..

But thats all it does, monitor your GAMEPLAY.

Nothing more, not what websites you go to, not harmful to your comp..

I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe what you say, emo boy....

I might check it out... I'm so confused! I dunno what to do!

***NOTE: If anyone wants to get up in my *** about me calling NIGHT "emo", then please, don't. It's an ongoing thing from when he was in ASQ, we'd always joke around, so if you want to try to start trouble w/ someone? Find some other person, cuz I'm not the one.***

Lol :P

I'v had 2142 for meh..around a week or 5days? Idk, around there though.

No problems, but if your uber worried your comp will get messed up..then don't buy it. =\

2142, is like the futuristic WW2, most of the maps are closed in and urban..well..I'v only played like 5, but around 3 were very urban with tracers everywhere and rifle cracks all over.

Especially Fall of Berlin(A map), in that map..you can get so much "Movie moments" as I like to call them, like rushing to cover while bullets are spitting up dust infront of you.

In Fall of Berlin, theres ALOT of cases where the two teams are pitted against eachother in one area, with buildings on each side, or walls, with something like "No mans land" between your team and them.

And both teams would just light up the other side, duck when fired at, reload, stand up and keep firing..if you still don't get whart I mean.

Take two stone walls, place them 80 feet apart and put 15players behind each..and you got yourself an all out war with loads of tracers lightning the area up..etc.

Very, very fun..

Does anyone know where I get that EA Downloader thingy? If you do, could you post a link to it.

EDIT:Nevermind, I found it. Here's a link for those that don't know where it is: https://account.ea.com/commerce/main...fmCmaMdAAAKDw.

I'm pretty excited for this game, but I've heard it requires really stiff specs. I just bought a new laptop (just meaning like 10 mins ago lol)

HP Pavilion dv9000t customizable Notebook PC

* Genuine Windows XP Media Center
* Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T5600 (1.83 GHz)
* 17.0" WXGA+ Ultra BrightView Widescreen (1440x900)
* 256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7600
* 2.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MB)
* 100 GB 5400 RPM SATA Hard Drive

Do you think it would be able to handle it?

That should run the game quite well. Here are the minimum system requirements:

Quote:
Min System Requirements:
Windows XP
1.7 GHz Intel Celeron D / Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP/ Sempron or greater
512 MB of RAM or more
8x or faster CD/DVD drive
2.3 GB free hard drive space or more
DirectX 9.0c compatible
128Mb Video card or more
Don't feel that your processor is only .1 GHz faster since it really isn't. You have a duel core, which is significantly faster than a single core processor.

There are tons of servers... Check your firewall. I think this game's more popular the SOCOM or Halo.... 150,000 people from BF2 alone signed up, not to mention the noobs.

Also, if anyone out there has this game, and wants to buddy with me, my user is CJ7986 (cJ7986 if it's case sensitive). I think im the gold corporal thing. (Has the arrow thru it). I pretty much snipe the whole time... Zellar ftw. Maybe i'll make a video to show you guys what the game's like.
