its almost here, ive been waiting for a while now. the only thing is i have to find a ride, or take a bus to get to the gamestop i preordered it at, its too far to walk, and i want to get it at midnight, so the bus obviously isnt looking promising!! :(

I think it got lost among the millions of delays. I hope it's good and all this waiting paid off. I still don't know if I want it for Mac or PS3... I'm leaning towards the Mac though for now because I don't know when the PS3 version comes out.

I don't think I'll spring for the "Galactic Edition"...

$30 more for:

• 'Making of Spore' DVD video

Is there somewhere that compares the gameplay on both the Mac/PC and PS3 versions?

IGN AU rated the game (PC version) a 9.2....not bad if you ask me, and definitely on par with what I would expect from it (9.0+) after all the delays. The US review is to come in a couple days I would assume.

i also dont know where anyone heard that its gunna come out on PS3. PC and mac, the creature creator on DS, and i heard a rumor on the Wii, but PS3?

The PS3 is still "unconfirmed" but it's pretty much inevitable. There was a time in the life of Spore development when it was going to be exclusive to the PS3 console.

Well ended up getting the galactic edition for my birthday, and it's pretty sweet. Haven't really spent much time, maybe a half hour playing, but there's a ton of customizations you can do and I foresee many hours spent playing with my creature.
