I have it and its really fun. But when I got a virus I had to reinstall my pc so now its gone, and I dont feel like playing it because I play socom and because the graphics and lag for me suked cause i had a bad graphics card. I was in the SoB clan

I never played it, but the music thing sounds like it makes it more unrealistic, and more shoot'em up.

i have 1942 + vietnam and this is what i think

1)Desert combat
2)1942
3)vietnam

i like DC b/c it has tons of fighters (f-14s, f-15s f-16s su-25s harriers mig29s a-10 thunderbolts....)
you can have cool naval battles..with aircraft carriers that have f-14s on them, battleships, destroyers, subs etc... cant do that on vietnam

plus vietnam vehicles arent as good

1942>vietnam cuz it has ships, subs, cool WW2 weaponary, cool WW2 ground vehicles and classic planes. love the 1942 terrain!

I'm not sure if I'm talking about Vietnam or 1942 but I remember downloading a trial version of it and not being able to figure out how to fly the planes. I checked through all of the controls and it didn't tell me ****! Also, there was a lot of boring pointless running involved in a lot of the maps. I just stick with BF2 now.

to fly a plane....
W = thrust (accelerate)
S = slow down
and then the arrow keys. press up to go down and press down to go up.
u can use the A and D keys in combination too

or use a mouse, or joystick.

The thing is, I would accelerate and when the place got to the end of the runway it wasen't fast enough to lift off of the ground or lift high enough to avoid hitting everything.

that means you had failed to pull up...just drag your mouse down (or up, depending on your configuration). i also had a hard time trying to fly, but i got used to it and it became the most easiest things on the game. The planes only take like 50 feet to lift off.
