[quote=TEKNIC;406319]Yeah, sure. Except the PC has better controls. And better graphics.QUOTE]
Yes PC's are better for PRECISION shooters, where you want to kill the guy in two or three shots. In most console shooters, precision is not so important (eg SOCOM etc). I don't think PC games look better unless you have a monster of a machine costing you a tonne of cash. I think generally, developers make games which are playable on a "typical computer" - it makes no sense it making a high demanding game which can only run on 5% of PC's or something (theyll make less money). Yet the advantage with the PS3 and 360 is that the developers know that their consumers will have a powerful machine so they can make very demanding games. Im not saying PC games look bad, you can always increase the spec etc and some games like Crysis etc have very good graphics. Yet, theres something wonderful about sitting on a sofa, relaxing/drinking a soda at a distance (not 2 feet away like on a comp) on your 1080P giant plasma/LCD TV with your friends who are all playing simultaneously. Its more of a social environment, so maybe you are right that consoles aren't ALWAYS for those "hardcore, pro gamers"
