I TOTALLY agree. Source I can easily go 15-0 in any map, because the game is geared toward the casual player. But in 1.6 you actually have to try and control your firing, none of that holding down trigger BS. If you hold down the trigger in 1.6 with an AK and he is say 10 feet away from you, you will not kill him unless you get a lucky headshot. That's why I like 1.6, good people are actually GOOD, not just being born with a heavy finger like most source kiddies.

EDIT: @ Chimaira- Why do you think none of the great clans in 1.6 moved on to source? They tried, but it just alienated them, so they stayed at 1.6.

EDIT #2: @ Mobscene- Tell me how Source is easier, c'mon enlighten me.

I dont know, I care about those clans as much as I care about you. I want to see you go 15-0 in a PvP room. Then you would knock off Mob from my hero list. But until then, ;-) s^

I could care less about them too, I was just making a point.

I don't have source installed on this PC anymore, actually I haven't logged into steam in over 3 weeks. But my best map (usally averaging 4:1 k/d) was de_port. Then, there is always iceworld. But that just gets boring.

BTW, Mob isn't a CS god or anything.

I didn't say source was easier, I said it was harder, and if not harder, then just as difficult. Your crosshairs spread faster in 1.6 but that doesn't metter cause you don't shoot inside of them anyway. Here is how it is on Source when you fire fully automatic.

That is where your bullets hit when you fire fully automatic so it does take a tremendous amount of skill to long range kill someone at fully automatic which is where the burst shooting comes into play and even then it get's hard to judge at times.

Based on that picture mOB source is easier.
in CS1.6 full auto is pretty innaccurate and even at point blank you'll miss a good deal of shots.

As soon as I get some cash I'm going to by Source though.

The spread is a lot wider than that, that picture is a rough estimation. When I get the chance to, I'll make a seperate room, stand a certain distance back from a wall, mark a spot on the wall to shoot and keep my crosshairs on it as close as possibly than screen shot where the bullet holes are.
