get rid of source, get 1.6 dl some demos of cal i people, watch how they play, how they aim, what they do. Dont just sit back and enjoy dl some vids too etc etc.

It's too late. I am already good at the game. CSS is better.

I never did play cs1.6 but I think source is pretty enjoyable. I dont have any problems with it. Hey mob, do you have Xfire? If so what is your name so I can join you in CS sometime.

I don't play CS at home (socom steps on it and mushes its foot in)
but at school in a quite boring computer class I'm in, me and about 4 other guys have been playing CS 1.6. I suck at it, but it's pretty fun. I suck with the AK, the 552 thing, the ugly AK thing, the M4A1, the bullpup, but for some reason I own with that crappy default glock-looking pistol you get on Terrorists.

me and my mates play 1.5 :D . its old, but i know so many mates from my school that play it..,we all play on the two or three servers in new zealand. its actually fun playing with 10 or 15 ppl i know. there are a few stoners on the servers, that have aimbot skills. anyway im pretty 1337...although i cant take aimbot like kills.

Everything looks crapier on 1.6 compared to CSS.

CSS is just fast and intense and requires a lot more skill to play than SOCOM which is why I enjoy it so much. It's a lot more realistic and you have to be fast and learn the accuracy and aiming styles of each gun to preform with the best of them.

In one server that I always play in which is a popular server, I'm curently ranked 52 out of about 30,000 different registered names to that server so I must say that I'm doing pretty nice.

I've gotten best with just running around with a Desert Eagle, kevlar and helmet, 2 flashbangs, 1 HE, and a smoke grenade. The Desert Eagle has great range to it as well as accuracy and is just so powerful. In the right hands, it can easily stand in a long range fight against an assault rifle.

I'm getting a new PC soon and I'll be getting CS. Just, which one should I get?

CSS. It's a complete upgrade of older CS games. Graphics are better, more people play, bigger map choice, and adjustments made to the game itself along with the maps and weapons to fix problems.
