Counter Strike (PC)

So I'm kind of getting into CS a little more now...

I'm making rooms with just bots and playing...usually iceworld, but I'm still sucking. Tips? I notice the bots just stop and sit there, and so do ppl in regular rooms but idk what I should do. I'm too used to run n gun from socom.

Yay! The first 2 clips it was right after I changed my controls in order to be able to play w/ camera there, so I'm a bit off.

Yeah the camera is at a weird angle but my monitor is so big I had to put the cam there in order to get the whole screen while having cam rest on table.

You run foward too much and your aiming quickness is really slow. Also, I noticed that you don't aim down low enough sometimes when you are firing fully automatic rifles.

Get good at taking cover too, especially when retreating. You should remember that you can't win every fight so you shouldn't kamikaze run all of the time. If you are losing a fight, run and find someone else to kill. Live to fight another day or just find a better route.

Again, the whole time I was playing w/ the arrow keys instead of w a s d, so I probably did a little worse but ok. I hate hiding, that's all people do in this game too. Even iceworld. They sit in their spawn the entire round. Boo.

I never said to hide, just retreat and get a better position when you are obviously being outgunned. Changing your position to ambush or give yourself a more tactical spot over the enemy can keep you alive and get you some more kills.

damn mob, if it wasnt for that great round i had, that game in ECC woulda pissed me off. Thanks for letting me know their locations locations via Xfire.

Online games for the computer is never laggy at all unless you yourself have a crappy connection or you are playing in a really bad room.
