Ummmm, that weapon switching isn't instant. I'm talking about it just pops into their hands like when you're buying weapons at spawn.

Thats because I posted that to prove you wrong? The vid is to show that it isnt instant as you stated. totally different from the rest of my psot because that was lcipped from a demo and not hltv demo, a pov demo

What were you proving wrong? I already noted how I saw the downward knife which pointed out it was 1.5

Mobscene, it could also be 1.6. You can get that skin. And mob, if you STILL don't believe us about the "instant switch" here is a thread from the Team 3D forums.

Hello, I have a question.

When you switch weapons for example knife to pistol, the guy 'loads' the pistol (e.j. deagle, he spins it round on his finger), this normally takes a second or 2 to do. But I have been watching some cs movies from this site and most of the weapon switches are instant. I hope you guys know what I mean. Another example is switching to grenage, in my game you see his hand come up but in the movies the grenade is sudenly there.

That's the HLTV glitch, where there are no animations. If you were watching a "POV" or "In-eyes demo" you'd see the animations to the gun and nade models; same for scoping, but too lazy to type it :P.

#1 HLTV demos dont show the gun animations in order to save recording space. However, the delay before you can shoot (such as the "2 seconds" you mentioned with the deagle) still apply.

hltv just shows the gun frozen there instead of the animation, durning the time of it frozen, its doing the animation actually, but hltv just doesn't show it. understand??

I think that's enough.

In 1.6, they turned the knife upright in the guys' hands. They stopped it at 1.5 and it was a team tournament and everyone had the same knife issue. I'm sure that everyone wasen't glitching at a big event.
