Rules for the SocomII Clans and Clan Wars Section
Ok, I've seen enough! Laying down some basic ground rules:
1) First off,
These rules, should always be put into place first and foremost, KNOW THESE RULES.
There is an exception. Rule #10, which states no advertising of websites in profile is unregarded in this forum. You can ONLY advertise for your clan website, THATS ALL, any other advertising will be deleted without notice.
2) There will be no bumping your topic for your "clan ____ recruiting", or your "i need a clan thread" more than
ONCE in 24 hours, so only one bump every 24hours. Disclaimer: You may not bump more than 7 times (which = a week), after 7 days and no positive replies, bad luck buddy, let other succesfull clans get their thread noticed. Your thread will be locked.
3) There will be
NO going into other people's clan recruiting threads and either:
i) Degrading their clan, by any means
ii) Recruiting for YOUR clan, in THEIR thread
4) If you want to critisize someone's clan, do it in a constructive, and mature manner, please don't go in and losing your temper in their thread.
5) If you came here to recruit for your rank-up or glitching/cheating clan. Get lost, we are a forum reknowned for our zero tolerance level with that crap. Your thread will be immediately deleted/locked without notice.
If these rules are not followed, then your thread or post is liable to:
a) Editing
b) Locking
c) Simply just deleting without any notice
You will be notified via PM if you disobey the rules very harshly, like totally spam up someone elses topic with your own clan, or use racial slurs, or just "curse your heart out". Other misdemeanours will just be locked, edited, or deleted. If one continues to disobey the rules, harsh consequences may follow, such as banning, wether it be temporary or permanent, or IP ban.

Need A Clan/Recruiting For Clan Guidelines
Decided to make these because I've seen it once I've seen it a thousand times, people not or barely giving any information when they want in a clan or when they are trying to recruit...instead of saying: "hey i need a clan my name is sniper_d00d thx!!!!!!"
Looking for a clan
If you are making a thread stating you are looking for a clan, make sure you give enough information out so the recruiter can make a valid decision. Be sure to include:
Socom name online
State wether it's North America or International Universe
Possibly your age (if you aren't comfortable with giving that out, then by all means don't)
Your time zone you live in
Your best times to get on socom
Your favourite side/and or guns
Any special info you might want to add (looking for a canadian clan only, German clan only, pistol clan only, 17+ etc.)
Give a breif description of the "perfect clan" you are looking for, maybe someone has one with your name in it :D
Don't forget: how to get in touch with you (an AIM sn, email, YIM sn etc.)
Example
Hey I'm looking for an International clan only, my name on INTL is OTTER, I'm 90 years old and live in Ontario Canada (EST) I can usually get on socom anywhere from 4-10ish, 11 sometimes.
I can play any side...with any gun, no favourite at all. I'm looking for a clan that likes to have fun, but wars a helluva lot, also, they don't allow, or they don't like it when people teamkill at all, because I hate that. AIM me at Keanu Reaver666 or YIM me at SOH_CALM116 or reply here if you have that clan.
Recruiting for a Clan
If you are making a thread recruiting for your clan, make sure you provide enough information so the people can decide wether or not they'd like to join. Be sure to include:
The name of your clan obviously
Wether your clan is a North America Universe or International
The time your clan usually gets and plays on
If you like, the SIZE of your clan, how many people/rosters etc.
A website if you have it
Any special info you'd like to tell the people (pistol only clan, Canadian only, only plays on INTL Universe, 17+ etc.)
Give a breif description of the type of people your clan might be looking for
Give a breif description of your clan
How to contact the leader of your clan or a trusted member (an AIM sn, email, YIM sn etc.)
Example
Socom-2.com! International is recruiting! We usually get on and play anywhere from 4-11+ EST. We currently have 2 rosters, our second one is still recruiting, though the first one has one or 2 spots open. We are...of course...an INTL clan only and are looking for members who are both active on this site, and on socom, not just any joe blow on this site. Our clan is full of great, fun, and skilled members, we don't mind teamkilling
at the end of the round if you are in the mood, we war A LOT, once every day usually.
To get in, AIM or PM otter (his AIM is keanu Reaver666) or reply here, OR, for second roster (reccomended) pm <~Sypher~> or post in his thread in European Gamers.
