i've been leading a clan now for about 9 months and its really hard to do when u want one thing but someone else wants another u usually tend to go with what u want and its usually best but tell that personu consider thier offer and maybe change a few things to make it better never have a clan full of people who just wanna win have a clan full of people who will become good friends and love to talk to each other and chatrooms and stuff espeacally with the headsets team work like that will go good with fun guys and usually when recruiting make it all adults or all kids sometimes mixes do not go well for more tips e-mail me at josesmoe@aol.com

I started our clan around 3 weeks ago and belive me is not easy because not everybody is in the same time zone and this make it hard to Team practice but we manage to do it.
To have a good team you need to have loyalty and good communication between team members.

You know, clans are tough, I mean you are in effect managing 16 employees, or a little league team...
IMHO, you are better off taking a look at what you want in a clan (ie:fun, rank, competition within, without) and build around that. I have a clan that stays at a full roster of 16 most of the time. We practice or war 2 nights a week, have a msg board and email list to communicate, and have become pretty good friends (online at least).
The thing is, no one in my clan worries about rank and if someone has a bad night or game or whatever...it is all about shooting the shiat and having a good time. I think the last one is the most important.
I mean as a leader, I have to set starting lineups, make sure we put out strong teams and also make sure everyone gets some time on the field. If they were all immature egomaniacs it would not work.
Recruit slowly and make sure that everyone is a good fit for whatever you are trying to do...and remember, being a leader ain't always easy.

What up man, just for your knowledge go to the sticky for free agents and post in there or go to the clan sticky and search for a clan that you would like to try out for, and PM or email the clan leader.

Clans are very hard to manage! I disbanded my 1st after about 3 weeks, but my new one has more ppl that are better, more active, and more loyal than my last clan!(NO A$$HOLES) We have about 10 ppl and we all get along rally well, and every one is happy. We are the >UNTOUCHABLES< and still recruiting :D ! I started the clan 6 days ago!
