You're right, neither the Intervention nor any other CheyTac gun fires anything quite as big as a .50BMG. However, the .408 CheyTac round, designed specifically for the M200 Intervention, was made to be delivered harder than the .50BMG. While it won't cause as much destruction, seeing as how it's a smaller round, it is still delivered with more force, therefore it still hits the target much harder.

I'd have to go with the Barret just because the firing rate is much better. Intervention is a fuckin sick name for a gun though.

i was just thinking exactly that this morning on underpass. and even if it couldn't penetrate the shield it'd at least knock em on their ass or make that arm completely numb and useless for a bit.

Knocking them on their ass would be awesome although if they were really hit by that I'm sure it would not only shatter there bones but blow a hole thru their body and the shield.

yeah I was kinda wondering how the riot shield seems to stop anything... Seems a little overpowered. I dunno Maybe i'm just whining because I only seem to come accross guys with shields whenever I have no grenades.
