Activision and Treyarch announced today the next call of Call of Duty: World at War map pack (Map Pack 2). Watch for three new multiplayer maps, along with one new Nazi Zombie map. Here are the details from Activision:
"Online, players will compete in "Banzai," and fight for control of a tall, river bridge, deep within enemy territory; face down foes in a shattered Russian train yard in "Corrosion"; and struggle to control a bombed-out submarine base in the close-quarter map, "Sub Pens." In "Shi No Numa" (Zombie Swamp), Imperial Zombies rise from misty swamps in an all new co-op experience, with a level that features a mix of traps, flaming Hell Hounds, Perk machines and the deadly, new Wunderwaffe DG-2, as well as 10 new Xbox 360 Achievements/PS3 Trophies that can be earned along the way."
Watch for it this June!

The zombie part sounds cool. Noice.
Best thing about WaW is the whole zombie thing. Thats about it.. The single player is crap...most of the multi-player is crap.
I can't wait to get this. WaW is really the only MP game I play anymore besides Resident Evil 5, but that's getting kinda stale. Back to WaW, that is, until MW2 comes out.
I gotta say this dlc was sorely needed because of the delay of Battlefield 1943 and basically a limp summer with new fps titles. The maps are awesome and this will just lock COD as a all time fps franchise. I look forward to Modern Warfare 2 and other titles like MAG but this should hold down the fort.

the new maps are very, very good. for some reason it makes the game feel very much like i'm playing COD4, unlike the other maps with there large open spaces these maps play very fast

Yes these maps are very cod4 like and thats a good thing. Thank god for the lack of tanks that was a dumbest addition to this series. I love the maps and the game now has a such a large variety with both map packs plus originals it will keep a fresh feel. Great job COD
