UK, March 2, 2009 - Infinity Ward's put an ear to the internet, opening itself up for suggestions for the forthcoming and eagerly awaited Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Robert Bowling, director of communications at Infinity Ward, has set up a Twitter inviting fans to put forth their ideas for the phenomenally successful 2007 Modern Warfare. It's already quite a busy list, so it's best to get there soon to make yourself heard. Or simply write your request in caps.
One idea that comes to me would be a streak-award like the airstrikes and UAV. Call it a communications jammer that kills enemy mics and radar for 30 seconds.
How about a field medic perk that allows you to revive teammates in last stand?
Also an option for switching to Third Person View, like it looks when you're spectating.

THIS.
If I had 50 million extra dollars, I'd give every penny to you, to let you make a game.

The first idea was half implemented in WaW... players with "second chance" could heal other players who were in the "last stand" position. I'd like that to be retained in all game modes, but extended in the core games so that anybody could heal a downed team mate with that perk, albeit very slowly... a little bit of good will and a lot less martydom would do CoD a world of good.
With the beauty of CoD 4's player models I'd like it to be 3rd person too!
I think that IW should change their perk system. Rather than just giving us 3 perks, we should be given perk points (I suggest 6) to be spent of a set of perks with varying values. Juggernaut, Stopping Power and the rest of the very powerful perks could be worth three points each (limiting users to a maximum of 2 perks), while Camouflage, Steady Aim and any other moderately useful perks would be worth 2. The garbage perks like Gas Mask, Shades, Fire Proof etc could be worth 1 each. If this were implemented very little would change for reasonable players, who could continue to play as they have done, but the freaks who need grenade launchers, juggernaut and martyrdom would be restricted to just two of those.
So long as they introduce a bit of stability to their online rooms I'm happy enough. I don't desire permanent servers like you get on Counterstrike, but currently the life expectancy of Call of Duty's rooms are third world sort of stuff.
It'd take the immense profits from Titris to build a game that lived up to that title. A game in which there'd be an unlockable pistol that fired chainsaws.
A spin-off of terrorist hunting would be fun... only this time they add midgets, and call it midget hunting. Nothing would be more fun than to shoot hordes of little people that come running at you with that funny little running motion that they all seem to have. They could even dress them up to look like Oompa Loompas and Munchkins.

ROFLCOPTER!
OMG! I don't think I've laughed that hard in a while.
I think they should keep the core gameplay, keep it First Person, and take away Matrydom. Multiplayer does not need be fixed in any way.
But I think they could do a whole lot with single player. They could definately add co-op support. That is a must. There was multiple times where I wanted my friend to experience some of the best moments of the game with a controller in his hand. Hopefully that'll be in COD: MW2.
Oh and the last thing, they could definately change up the title....COD:6?

Yo in ten games of BP, I went 8-5. Yo I wrecked until my fourth game.
I would like for there to be a mode like nazi zombies in COD:MW2.
Lmao.... Nazi Middle Eastern terrorists? Ohh boy, two very bad things in one.
And Third Person would absolutely ruin this game. It is so good because it is an FPS, TPS just makes everything a campfest (See: SOCOM). It's just too easy to wait for someone to come down the path as you're waiting at the corner or bush or such.
Honestly, if this game was exactly like the first with a few add-ons, I'd be completely content. COD 4 is the first game since Socom 1 and 2, or Halo 3, that lasted me as long as it did. Most shooters don't have the playability like they used to (for me at least).
