is there really any point in getting this one? It looks like a mod of COD4 with German Zombie skins :/

No, do not get it. Unless you love WWII and want to try zombie mode. I would get this game for single player only because it's pretty fun and challenging. For multiplayer, Call of Duty 4 is my choice.

Call of Duty 5 is an ok game, but you have to be into WW2 as stated above. I'm not going to straight up tell you do not get it, because I own it. If your into more hi-tech weaponry, Cod5 is not for you.

My friends have it which makes it fun. It's not that fun to play by yourself though. The campaign on veteran is frustrating but fairly enjoyable.

I would actually say get this game. It's got all the gayness of glitches and campers like COD4, but it's something new. After a long period of time COD4 and it's maps just got boring, as would any game, which I'm sure will happen to me with WaW soon enough. Like I said though, it's something new, not a breath of fresh air by any means, but it's enjoyable. It's got the same online set up as COD4 but you get some cool perks and different weapons are always fun.

The single player, like COD4, is short, but it's really well done, much better than 3. Although at some times I felt like I was playing a Vietnam game rahter then a WWII game I think they did a pretty decent job following history. I would say pick it up.

If I were you I'd buy it if you can find it on sale or a cheap used copy. COD 4 is better in almost everyway but it is still a great game. I love the zombie mode.

I had considered getting this game because a lot of my friends play it but...
I just started playing cod4 so I'm not bored with it.
I don't like ww2 games
Lots of people still play 4
5 or 4.5 or whatever isn't much of a leap forward.


I think I will stick to 4

I own both games for PS3 and must say that I expeceted COD 5 to suck, but it was really good too. The online may not be the same as COD4 but as a whole the game is a excellent addition to the COD series if a little not too similar to the COD4 game prior.

I'v never actually played the game but I have seen my friends play and the game looks decent. Call of Duty 4 looks better though.The online play looks okay but COD4's online play was realllly good. I really enjoyed it. I used to be addicted to it lol but this ones online play doesnt look as good as COD4's

I think it would be worth it to get both, but if you don't want to waste money, maybe try renting it or borrowing it from a friend before you buy.

pretty much what everyone else said,

the game was ok. pretty good single player with a couple of great levels, but the multiplayer pales in comparison to Modern Warfare.

Zombie mode is the only ONLY reason I bought CODW@W. For everything else COD4 XD
