creek looks really good BUT camping and sniping will control the game play . broadcast no comment I'm a little disappointed from what I've seen so far from the 3 screen shots. where is a snow map give me a map like blizzard.
what is the overall fascination with snow maps?? every shooter that's come out since socom2 has had alot of fans clamoring for a snow map for some odd reason? is it the fact that enemies are easier to see on a predominantly white background or what? i don't get it.
for the other poster that mentioned cod4 being primarily a non-snow type setting, check out videos on youtube for the pc version and the christmas conversion of the crash map.
I posted about these maps (3 of the 4 anyway) last night in the other COD4 map thread but the maps actually had different names. Of course they were just rumours at the time though.
The TV station one looks pretty good, I think we will see a horrific overuse of claymore and C4 though.
The first screenshot I saw of Creek tells me it will be a snipe fest and some easy airstrike kills will come into play, but I think it will be skipped too much to get noticed.
Kill house just sounds weird. If the map is based on the training venue you play in the game, I wont be playing it. Wasn't the training map on R6V called Killhouse also?
Finally, the Chinatown one I haven't seen so can't really comment. I just hope it's not like District.
Overall I want to get these new maps but I will be pissed if I pay for them only to see them getting skipped in the playlist. I think the best map out of them all will be Broadcast although Creek will provide for a good Ground War.
all 4 new maps revealed with videos release date is early April for 360 and ps3 along with the new maps new play lists added. read the second page where the rest of the videos are for more info.
Kotaku are reporting that the map pack will cost 800 MS Points and will be released alongside the game of the year edition on April 3rd.
Nothing about the PS3 version though.
So if they keep the price the same (which I'm assuming they will), the four maps will cost $10.00. I guess $2.50 per map is not that bad of a deal. I just hope enough people purchase the map pack to make the purchase worthwhile.

Screw that. Gamestop is running an extra 20% for trade-ins towards GTAIV, and that's where my COD4 is going. The offer ends 4/3.
Wow, Killhouse looks like the ultimate paintball arena
I thought of the exact same thing when I watched it, but if someones pulls out the nube tubes, or gets grenade happy, that place is going to be related to shipment in my opinion.
