I was started playing this game today with the intention of trading it in this weekend, but I don't see the epidemic of campers/snipers that some of you describe.

One guy on Countdown somehow got on top of the missile launchers and he was impossible to hit even with a sniper rifle. I thought he was just lagging at first but it turned out he was somehow not actually where everyone saw him, he was a little lower on the launcher. He was sniping from up there but he was too crap at it for me to care.

This game got old fast but I think it's just staying at a certain level of boredom. If it got worse day by day then it would be back on the store shelves by now.

If you're speaking of [S3] / [S-2], the Socom-2.com/Socom3.com clan from back in the day.... no. Those were the only 'official' clans this site had.

We will be making a comeback run in Confrontation though, as long as the game doesn't blow.


As far as this whole camping issue.... it's a thousand times less camping than Socom 3/Ca, so it keeps me happy. I don't come across too many problems, probably because I just rush around 90% of the time.

I honestly have no idea what most of you are talking about. Then again, I haven't played it non stop since it came out though, but anyway, I never really get frustrated with this game. It's all respawn, and if you're getting frustrated playing S&D because of campers or grenaders or whatever... stop playing S&D, it's that easy. If someone is hiding in the same spot as always, just get a ****ing gun and shoot the bastard. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

It's not that it's hard to kill campers it just gets old. I only played tdm never cared much for the other game modes. I hated strike, everybody was always in buildings same thing with crash. It's like as soon as you kill them and they respawn they run back into the buildings. I get tired of chasing them getting killed by stupid claymores or shot in the back. Just ruined the fun for me. I was always run and gun too. Sucks more people aren't that way.

Perhaps it's because these are the same people who used to ruin Socom in the same kind of manner... and they're just practicing in this game, so they're really good at annoying people once Confrontation is released???
