Well you are playing the wrong genre of games my friend. Socom, COD, and other such games are not the types of games to be complaing about snipers and being killed with one shot. Why don't you go play Halo or something. That is more your style, running around with your eyes closed, spinning in circles holding down the trigger hoping to get a kill. Thats almost as bad as someone playing madden or NCAA, complaing because someone runs or passes the ball all the time. Just playing the game and quite complaing. No one likes whiners. The funny thing is, I don't ever camp, I just hate people who *****. Your worse than my wife.

Well for one thing, The sniper rifles in this game, including the 50.Cal, aren't 1 shot kill guns anyways. I do agree that campers aren't fun to play with, however with the gametypes where you are suppost to defend something, lets face it, everyone camps then. I love sniping, the fact that the hit detection with the sniper rifles in this game blow a$s, and other reason sniping just isn't that much fun in this game.

I heard there is going to be a patch for the snipers. Because face it, a .50 cal shot pretty much from anywhere is going to kill you. Look at the single player, one shot with the .50 cal from the hotel about 2 miles away blows the guys arm off.

I hope so, because a .50 Cal should be a one shot kill. If you look at the gun menu where it shows the damage, accuracy, fire rate etc.. for each gun when you highlight it the R700 is better then the Barrett .50 Cal, which is umm.... BS to say the least.

Well thats really the problem with it but i dont blame you at all for doing it. all the respawn games are doing it non stop so i just play hardcore and search and destroy.

Let me guess...you suck at Halo, don't you? All this Halo vs. CoD ******** is just completely ridiculous. People who play Halo HATE people who play CoD, and vice versa..why? Because those who play Halo and like playing it, don't like getting killed in 1 shot, or 2-3 shots, which is VERY quick. People who play CoD don't like Halo because they suck at it and think that the way to win in that game is to just rush non stop and jump around like kangaroos the whole game..if you knew ANYTHING about the game, you'd know it's the complete opposite.

You know what? I like both Halo and CoD4, currently playing CoD4 A LOT more than Halo at the moment.

You know what else? I used to complain about sniping in CoD4 too, mainly the 50 cal and it supposed to be a 1 shot kill. Why? Because when you play a game(Socom) for however many years, and other shooters with 1 shot sniper kills you get used to it, then you put in CoD4, use the 50 cal and say oh **** it's not a 1 shot kill, that's stupid. And yes, there is 1 shot kills with snipers in CoD4, as there have been many times where I have spawned, not taken ANY damage at all, no shots, no falling damage, and been sniped in 1 shot, looked at the kill cam and the guy shoots me in some random spot that isn't a head shot, which ends up killing me.

And what's funny is I'm almost positive that if you see someone that doesn't like this game, the very first thing you will think or say is "go back to Halo". Look around, there's more games than Halo and CoD4. Many many people play Halo. Easton is one of those that DOESN'T play it. So next time, before you even start to say something, just get rid of all of that Halo vs CoD4 **** in your head.

HAHA, you are preaching to the choir my friend. I agree with you, in no way shape or form was I trying to talk about the similarities between the two. I was merely mentioning that Halo would be more of a game for someone who runs around like a chicken with it's head cut off, which is the type of player that Easton seems to be, or thats what he talks about at least. Complaing about snipers in Socom, or a similair game, is like complaining about eating turkey on thanksgiving. I snipe in Socom/COD 4, and I also run n gun, i'd say I'm about 50/50.

I also want to point out the fact that I have Halo, and play it a lot, however now that COD4 is out, I'm beginning to play that a little more often, but enjoy the game none the less.

My main reason for the post was about the whining. People who complain about getting sniped and all that make me laugh. Same goes for people who complain about campers, people who run n gun etc... I mean seriously, if your life going to end (your real one) if you get killed by a sniper, or someone with a noob cannon. Who F'in cares, just play the game and quite whining so much.

People do so much complaing about snipers and campers and people who run around with out a care in the world that I wonder why the hell these people even bother to play the game, it seems it would just frustrate them.

1. Never tell me what game to play, especially when I played the Socoms, CODs, and MOHs online and enjoyed nearly all of them.

This is my post. Did I ever say that I bum rush people every round? Did I ever say campers piss me off? (sometimes they really do) All I say is that I hate when people use one shot snipers, doesn't matter if they're shotgunning, QSing, Standing in the open, Proning in a bush, or right up my ***hole. I never said I disliked any game, just an aspect. Hell, I actually ENJOY getting killed by a M40, L96, or unsilenced sniper in Socom just to see people are up for a challenge knowing that if it isn't a headshot it's not a kill. Please think twice before you assume things.

Again, I said I played the beta where I know I killed numerous people with the 50.cal in one shot, whether they were all headshots, probably not.
