not true actually. i got my priorities straight before i even started playing. i kept up my promises, and im as healthy as a horse. 16 years old at 130 lbs? thats not fat at all. i have plenty of friends too. it all depends on how you choose to play. i just like having the balence of real, and surreal.

I just don't ever want to get into a situation where someone is like "come over here and do this" or "there's a party going on right now, get over here" and me have to tell them, hold on, I'm about to get this item or beat this boss. I'll be over shortly, then 2 hours later I'm still playing the game.

i understand you there, cause to be completely honest, it has happened to me quite a few times. but i always made up for the things i lost. if there was an item i was missing, i was a guild master so i could go get it when ever i wanted. but its also not the same for people who arnt guild masters.

or this situation:
"hey baby, ive been waiting for you all day. my roommate and i are lonely, come keep us company. the girls are coming over later to jello wrestle."
"no, i can't right now. i'm going on a raid for the next hour, and then i have to document my inventory in excel. don't worry about me, i'll be fine, i just hooked my rogue up with new armor last night while you and your roommates were trying on lingerie. btw sorry i couldn't make it. it got pretty crazy and the lag was terrible."

This blows my mind. How could someone get so engulfed that all these things happen to them even to the point of death. I mean I've had lull time in my games.
IMHO something has to be going on already for someone to let something effect their life like this.

personally i prefer console because i dont want to have to worry about a game working with my system. With the computer you constantly have to upgrade ram, video cards, and processors. I just like being able to know that if the game's for the ps3, it WILL work and i dont need to spend any more money on upgrades.

I Guess that an 8800GT (or even an 8600 GT ) is more than enough to ensure that all these new games can be easily played, for at least 2-3 more years. Crysis, GeOW and COD4 play rather smoothly on a 8600GT. However the problem is that not many games are getting released for the PC Nowadays, as everyone knows.

I would play the PC version most definitely but I don't feel like picking up a better graphics card since I don't play games on the PC. I used to play game such as Battlefield series, and other games. But now the newer games require better specifications thats why I switched over to the console because I hate updating my computer with new stuff.

My desktop computer is about 6 years old with NO upgrades (other than switching from a ball mouse to an optical) and I can still run most games smoothly. I can play games like Couterstrike: Source, Vietcong, Command and Conquer and Half-Life 2 no problem. I do have to change around some video settings to make it run smoother but slightly worse graphics don't bother me at all. Besides, I'm pretty damn good at CS:S and I have an out-of-date computer.
