Okay, that's enough... no more attacking other members trying to give a little true insight and Teqila, I'm not sure exactly how you meant your post to sound but it sounded like something someone would say to be an *** so try to suppress that a little bit to keep anything from starting.

Thank you...

Anyway, let's get back to the ACOG.

Sorry to resurrect this, but in the past week or so I've found myself having quite a ball with an acog on my M40 and R700. It actually works very well, even at long range. I've been able to counter-snipe effectively because the enemy sniper has to take the time to steady his sights, and I can just pop up and shoot. Leading has also become easier, and mid-range shots are that much faster and deadlier.

Don't use the ACOG Scope. I think you will prefer using the Red Dot because its just so much better in aiming.

I totally agree... its expecially difficult to use on sniper rifles, its better to use the normal scope on sniper rifles and red dots on machine guns

It's only unpredictable with ranged shots. The ACOG sight is way more effective up close then a normal scope is. If you were playing Vacant and wanted to run into the building with your sniper rifle in hand, then the ACOG would be perfect but on Overgrown, you're pretty much screwing yourself over. It all just depends on the map and game mode you are playing.
