COD4 just creeped me out bad!

i jumped on to see if the patch was out yet or anything and found zilch, but i was already logged on so i decided to play a quick tdm game thinking i'd see if this was going to be the typical "bull****! i lit that dousche up like a christmas tree!!" type night.

i jump into the middle of a game on overgrown. it's the typical setup, 1 rusher on each team while everybody else pretends to be a sniper, so many claymore lasers the buildings look like the inside of a rave, and the typical symphony of big booming 50. shots from guys firing them like they're assault rifles.

i spawn in on the S.A.S. side over by the covered bridge and immediately get wasted by an airstrike. no biggy, it happens. i let the airstrike pass and hit the respawn button, make it 3 steps and some kid with a p90 climbs up my *** and mines for gold. once again, no biggy, it happens. i spawn in yet again and run straight for the first cover i see, the busted up blue building next to the covered bridge. i make it inside and destroy a sniper so i run up stairs to see if there's anymore.

that's when i met satans' teddy bear.

no i'm not kidding you. standing in the middle of the room looking dead at me with one cyclopian button eye is a ragged undead looking teddy bear. it's just standing there drilling into my soul with it's evil glare like something out of a stephen king book.

i aint gonna lie, i freaked out a little and wasted an entire box of m60 rounds trying to banish his unnatural little *** back to the depths of the abyss from which he was spewed forth. lol

after the game was finished i started a private game by myself and went up there to check it out since i've never noticed a bear before. sure enough there he was just lying on the floor in the largest section of the room over by the big window. i don't know how he was standing up when i ran into him earlier but my guess is that a grenade hit just right and tossed him upright and he stuck that way by sheer coincidence, but it was still pretty damned creepy. lol

so yeah, there ya go, when playing cod4 be on the lookout for zombie teddybears.

Alright, this post is bugging me out a bit.

Not gonna lie..... I was playing CoD one night completely hammered and pretty high, and I came across the same teddy bear. I saw it standing up the same way, naturally I gave up on the entire game and ran there every spawn and stood still until I died just shooting at it, wondering why it was there. I never said anything because every time that I go back in there, it's not standing up and I don't want people thinking I'm crazy. But now that someone else said it, I know I wasn't imagining things.

I just had a funny image. All players on both sides lining up down the stairs and out of the building waiting to see this teddy bear!

by the way, there's 2 bears in that building. the one upstairs and there's another one in the hallway below on the 1st floor.

they're multiplying. somebody hold me, i'm scared.

You'll just have to wait until I get home from work

I might set up a private match today and shoot the bear or throw some nades at it to see if I can get it to stand up since I've never seen it (mostly because I never go in that building).

Pretty weird stuff going on in that house by the sounds of it.

Next you will see a COD4 map where someone named all the buildings, that one will be known as the Haunted House or something like that.

I never even noticed a bear in that room, not even after I saw this thread whenever it was created. I have seen the one on the bottom floor, but never up top. I usually just go upstairs and lay on the bed to see what reaction I get from teammates, they usually knife me or jump all over the place.
