WARLOCK'S rules for an open mic system.
1) nobody, and i mean NOBODY wants to hear your music. rap, rock, blues, classical, emo, house, reggae, none of it. cod4 is not a music venue, it's a videogame about killing people.
2) breathing heavy on the mic is not sexy, it's creepy/annoying. if you're trying to be sexy then just go ahead and shoot yourself in the face with a potato cannon and end our suffering now. if your fat *** is so out of shape that you get winded playing a videogame then you should be hauling your tubby self outside for some exercise. no seriously it's ok, the real world won't bite, it wants to be your friend.
3) if you're gonna argue at the top of your lungs with your mom, wife, sister, dad, uncle, or the local girlscouts over the price of thin-mints then have to god given decency to bail out of the game and take care of such important issues in private. i feel kinda bad fragging someone that just got thier *** verbally handed to them by what sounds like thier 90 year old asthmatic granmother. ok, that's a lie, i don't feel bad about it.
4) "you're gay!" or any derivatives of it are not the grand and glorious insult you think they are. think about it if you just got owned and then shout into the mic "oh my god, that dude is such a ***!!" dosen't that announce to the world at large that you just got fragged by a gay guy?? embarassing really.
5) if you and a school friend are online together pleeeeease don't regale the rest of us with your misadventures and shennaigans that day. we honestly don't care what jenny said to mark during 3rd quarter lunch. we really only want to know 5 things....1) how old is jenny? 2) is jenny hot? 3) does jenny put out? 4) do you happen to have jenny's number. and 5) would you be willing to give out jenny's number?
6) yes yes, we all know you're the supreme videogame frag god of death. now shut up and prove it you putz. if you run your mouth in the lobby before the game and then your postgame score needs viagra it is NOT acceptable to still run your gob when we all get back to the lobby.
7) belching on the mic is acceptable and it's ecouraged, BUT you best come at me with some serious bass and length. i'm usually about a 6 pack deep once i get online and i aint got time for your little squeakers and high pitched stomach rumblings. if you're gonna do it then do it right damnit.
that's all for now, carry on.

1) But everyone wants to listen to their favorite Britney Spears wanna-be **** *** music that no one else likes.
2) I've told some people to learn to control their breathing or GTFO. I have asthma, but I can control my breathing (I should be a sniper).
3) I'll just unplug my mic and keep playing. But remember, people in the world today lack common sense and courtesy.
4) I call people gay for camping. Because they are.
5) 1) 18 2) Very 3)Yes 4) No 5) Yes
6) I love the people that go deaths over kills and constantly talk smack. It just gives me something to laugh at.
7) Most of the time I play with someone that wants to burp on the mic, they're either doing it to be annoying or they belch like the were born without an esophagus.
I'd also just like to add that there are certain people that don't need mics when there is an open mic system.

There was some guy in a room yesterday and he must have either placed his mic in front of his music thing (CD player, iPod, whatever) or had very bad hearing.
All this rap **** come on and it then it turned into some MLK wannabe talking about **** I couldn't even understand. The only words I got were the N-word, and homie.
Then he left, and this little kid came in singing the same repeated words of immaturity, "I ****ed your Mom last night". Yes, he was doing it for at least 5 minutes straight, the same words over and over.
I have never heard anyone breathing down the mic, but I have heard a few arguments and phone conversations. None of them are worth speaking of but damn annoying.
I know it means moving your finger to hit another button which is so very difficult, but they should go back to pressing a button to talk like SOCOM 3. (There was sarcasm in there)
Finally, I just wish turning down the mic volume would actually work since I have it on 0 and can still here all the retards talking.

What is worse is when this happens on the 360 version even though the 360 mic has a mute button.

I accepted an invite from Mag a few days ago and had Tuesday's Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd playing. Shortly after joining the room I turned it off, but he gave me quite a lot of **** for it. You suck, Mag!
Warlock, I tried adding you on PSN, but I have a feeling your name isn't the same as it is on the forums. I'll have to double check the PSN Name thread.
EDIT: Why is the Graphics Forum Rules a related link?

nope my psn name is BLACKHAWK357 but it won't do you any good, i can't join games through invites and my invites apparently don't reach anyone so it's all rather pointless really.
