Ugh, I'm sooooooooooo fcking over this game.
I hopped on last night for what seemed like the first time in forever (about a week), and it's just crap. From over-powered weapons, to the horrible spawning system and the encouragement of camping via airstrikes and choppers, it's garbage.
It's amazing how good something can seem when there isn't anything better available. Maybe that's what kept Socom looking so good?

I was referring to Socom as a whole. You know, the special forces themed line of third person shooters that had absolutely no competition a few years ago?

Socom2 was up against halo2, but yeah thats different consoles i guess. But SOcom2 was the best online game ever, whether it had competition or not is irrelevant because it was just that fun.

The sniping on this game just winds me up beyond belief.
Bloc yesterday there was a guy laid half hanging out one of the buildings sniping. I was carrying a Dragunov and an M4 so I hit him with the Drag from the other large building. I went through a whole mag before he died. I know I hit him every shot because he was flinching, but he just wouldn't die. Either he was glitching or was lagging big time. My teammates were even stood behind him shooting him and he was there getting kills on the others beside the statue.
Every time I play this game I get pissed off but I just still want to play. I'm not addicted like them SOCOM noobs, but this game has so much potential but a total lack of online support. I think I play simple out of wishful thinking.

Yeah I agree, from the hit dection, to the horrible spawn issues, host ending games and connection interuption problems, this games seems to be a total waste of time. The funny thing is, I just keep playing it no matter how many times "the host ends the game", (the worst part of the game in my opinion).
I think there needs to be more clan support for a military shooter, if the hosts leaves the game the system should automatically find a new host during the game, have a little icon that shows up when your in a game that lets you know you recieved a party invite otherwise you have to press start to see them, the hit detection needs to be fixed, and if I spawn in front of 5 enemys again I'm going to scream.
That being said, I still play this game, still get pissed off, none the less I still enjoy it from time to time.

The fact that you can only add a clan tag is not enough. They should give you some kind of roster or something, and maybe add a warring thing.
