Eh, I dunno about that. The only time I see problems with detection is when I shoot someone immediately before I die and nothing happens (rare), or when I'm sniping and shots don't register.

Sorry to hear about your experience with both Call of Duty 4 and pretty girls on meth. I don't encounter many of those issues on the 360 version, rather I get to deal with the endless amounts of camping.
I think the game has reached the point where it's almost unplayable anymore because everyone knows "the spots", and they just camp them.
