No it will not. Once you hit the button for prestige it goes straight to Level 1, no matter what.

The answer, is no, Law. ANy points you aquire when past level 55 do not give you any credit if you finally decide to go prestige.

Or you're just good enough to reach that level of the game in a short amount of time because you're good?

I know a lot of level 10 prestige that suck and that's just because they play the game enough to get that high in level but never actually get good. I'm not one of those. I got to level 10 prestige quickly from destroying the score card in Search and Destroy and HQ.

A lot of them "suck" for the simple fact that they are bored with the game at that point that they simply mess around, too.

I'll mess around to a point though. If I start to fall behind, people talk **** all day long about how I'm level 10 prestige and I suck and have no life so I put them in their place and destroy their whole team most of the time. Some days I'll just not care but I feel that I have some sort of honor/reputation to withhold when I join pub servers.

But I spend most of my CoD4 time in Game Battles matches though so I'm always playing at the top of my game and rarely in pub servers hearing a bunch of 10 year olds talk ****.

Props to you man. I dropped GB today after 2 matches because I just can't deal with teams that leave mid-match and say they won. Long, ridiculous story. And congrats on that undefeated you guys have going.

I take pictures of every round. If someone drops mid match, we get a ref, the other team doesn't show, we get the auto-win. That has only happened to me once though since I've been playing GB for CoD4 and it was a dubs match.

The GB record for highest wins while undefeated is 104. My team is looking to beat that and set an even higher bar.... WAY higher!
