After Prestige

I can't see the point in going into prestige mode or whatever it's called.

You play the game so much, getting the guns and whatnot, just to lose them all because it looks good to other people?

You are basically ranking up (not in the SOCOM glitcher way) just to rank down again at the end of it all.

I haven't even got to level 55 once yet since I barely play (level 50 now), but I won't be going into prestige when I do.

Mukluk went to another Prestige level the other day, so I reset mine.

It's to keep things "fresh" in a way..either stay at 55 with the same weapons, don't get anything new and just play, or reset and actually have to unlock stuff to make it so you're always working for something.

It's also for "bragging rights", but on the 360 it's more along the lines of showing you play the game way too much rather than bragging rights.

yes i totally agree. I see a prestige level that ive never seen before and I just think that person is either really good or just lame.... I usually find out during the game.

Also zero I got you on my friends list...Ill probably play tonight after Lost is over...

I just go along with the challenges I get. Some gun marksman challenges are helpful, but I get alot of the boot camp/ operations/ etc. challenges just from playing.

Yeah I'm only level like 46 right now cause I took a month or two break because of all the new games that came out but so far I have about all of the marksmanship challenges done and I'm just slowly working away at the expert challenges. I really wanna get all my challenges done and get my golden AK before considering going into prestige. As long as I have some obscure challenge to do I probably wont get bored... and how can you get bored with a golden AK.. its so shiny.

Prestige is a good thing. It let's you keep building your stats. I'm level 4 prestige.

If someone wants to have bragging right, they can own in-game. I've played with a bunch of people that are prestige 3+ and end up like 11-30.

People with high Prestige levels are usually good... or they wouldn't have that many XP points.

I'm going to do all ten levels of Prestige just for the fact that there will always be "something to do", if that makes sense.

I don't mind reseting everything.

Plus, I only have COD4 so it keeps it from getting boring.
