Constant "Downloading Game Settings" ???

the ps3 version is acting screwy again too. i tried to get on after work around 7 and got the "downloading game settings thing for about 20 minutes so i played lego starwars until 8:30, and now it's back to the original problem of not being able to find any games.

when's the release of the next socom again?

Yeah I hear ya man. PS3 version is all F'd up right now. Downloading Game Settings won't come off of the damn screen, and when it does, you can't find a game anyways. Might work for about an hour or two, however, after that you'd f'd.

That storm was ridiculous. The winds were over 90mph (hurricane winds are about 75mph). My power was out for about 7 hours. I was so bored.

I always say to myself when the internet goes out I still have a lot to do like beating my old RPGs or single player campaigns or whatever, but jeez when the power goes out? I dunno what I'd do haha

Today I played for a full game, then 2 minutes into the second game I get signed out of PSN and get an error code. I thought fair enough, my internet lagged or something.

I sign back in, play for 5 minutes, and it happens again. Now, I can't sign into the PSN, but the web browser still works so it can't be my internet connection.

I am getting seriously pissed off with Sony for letting **** like this happen, and Infinity Ward for making us play on crappy servers. The COD4 site doesn't even have anything regarding a patch, so personally i think we are screwed.

Sorry, but this Call of Duty game is total fail.

Well I don't know about the PSN but doesn't Microsoft run the XBL servers?

I believe the game servers are different from the console servers or whatever. PSN and XBL connect into the games' servers, don't they? Because I wasn't having a problem with PSN. I was having problems with COD4.
