Headset question..
I just purchased my 40gb PS3 and Call of Duty 4. I have the headset that I used on PS2.. and i'm not sure how the headset situation even works on this game (online). The headset I purchased at EB said that it was compatible with both PS2 and PS3.. so I'm not seeing why there would be a problem.

I'm coming hot off Socom and just want to know how to use the headset online and if i should be buying another type..

its either the wired headset (both ps2 + ps3) or bluetooth (ps3) only. the bluetooth all depends on what you buy and i have the cheapest one they make and it works excellent. no matter which one you use make sure to go into your chat settings and raise the game volume and the consoles volume. they keep the default settings at a low setting so it doesnt blow your ear drum when you first use it.

The ps3 has its own (audio device settings) settings that allow you to adjust the mic volume but it might be just for the wireless headsets. the game call of duty has its own volume control for the headsets also in the options when you get online.

Settings > Accessory Settings > Audio Device Settings

Good luck on COD4 and I hope your mic works better then my cheap ps2 headset im using because most of the time it sounds like my opponents are eating their mics instead of communicating Ha.
