Bluetooth?

I am going to get a Bluetooth headset, and am wondering which of you are currently using one, specifically this game. I heard some people are having problems with them.

I have bluetooth and wish to go back to wired. It sucks if you forget to charge it and you can't talk. On cod people are having problems with head sets wired and wireless its just a mess up rigth now.

I have a cheap 30$ motorola bluetooth and it works really well. the only problem i had was in the beginning but that was mainly due to the shell shock of using something new. i guess i am one of the lucky ones b/c i just got my ps3 a couple weeks ago but i have been reading all of the "issues" on this site concerning the ps3 since it came out. i have been online since i got it and have had minor mic issues and i havent been booted offline from a game yet which is odd.

wireless router + wireless headset + wireless controller = no problems

I can't even get my bluetooth mic to connect to my PS3.

It picks it up, but then asks me to enter those 4 numbers you usually set (when doing it between 2 phones) but how can I enter the numbers on the mic?

My problem may be nooby but I don't use bluetooth much in any variation.

I have a Motorola H500 or something.

i've got a moto h500 too. for the older moto headsets the default access code is going to be 0000, and you don't need to enter it into the headset itself, just enter it onto the screen when the ps3/other device asks for it.

Yeah hes right the default code is 0000 but i think i only used that to sync my cellphone to it. i dont remember the ps3 asking for it. make sure your cellphones bluetooth settings arent set to look for the signal once you turn the blutooth on otherwise it might conflict with the ps3.

Thanks a lot for the help everyone, I will try it a bit later.

I never even thought of connecting my PS3 to my phone (I was just giving an example in my first post) but I might give that a try also.

I was losing all hope with the bluetooth headset so now I know the code I can cross a new one off my Christmas list. I searched Google for about an hour to try and find something, but I never think about YouTube when trying to find "information" out.

Again, thanks a lot.
